Judge Caprio, I love how you held the young man accountable for his actions towards the end of the video. You caught him in a lie and he knew it. I hope he learned his lesson. I love the way you handle cases. You make court appearances like this seem significantly less scary and teach folks that it’s ok to make mistakes. As long as we learn from them. Keep it up! You’re an inspiration and and reassurance that there are still kind people in the world. Please never retire!

I really like the judge so much, I almost want to go to RI to get a ticket (doing 1 mile over the speed limit) just so I can show up in his court, but since I live in Alaska, I don't think so. I do have to say it is refreshing to see a really fair judge, as well as one with a good sense of humor.

In California the law states that there has to be a CLEAR picture of the license plate AND the driver in order to convict. A lot of cities in California are doing away with those cameras because they actually cost too much to maintain compared with what they bring in from fines.

He hears just fine. She said they parked where the paper signs ended. So in other words he’s saying the defense is the proper signs were not in the area where they should have been. Frankly, I think he read the file and was going to throw it out before they even said a word which is why he was clowning them the whole time.
