I'm going to need some warming up to this redesign..looks like a dark skeleton sitting on a couple subwoofers wearing a pair of Nike's

my problem is with the backpack, the thrusters just look dumb to me
the gun with the shield parts also look pretty awkward

I would like to point out that this kit is actually a 3-in-1. You get all the parts to build either the Hyaku Shiki 2.0, Hyaku Shiki Kai (not just the head), and the Hyaku Shiki Crash. Of course, the manual doesn’t have any info on this, but if you’ve built the Hyaku Shiki Kai before you’ll notice all the parts are there.

I think this Hyaku Shiki crash is the full realization of Nagano Mamoru’s initial design of the Hyaku Shiki, just look at it. slender; almost skeletal, body. Long legs, arms, and torso. It just screams Mortar Headd.

Things I don't like:
1)Very low back pack thrusters
2)A bit too lanky for my taste
3)Shoulders look oversized
What I do like:
1)The colors are awesome
2)The waist looks like a Five Star Stories mech

The Crash is taller than the HyakuShiki not just because of its remolded thighs but its entire torso is sleeker/lankier.
I think this model is sweet! Didn't know the bass player from dir en grey had to do with this from his collab. That high gin shiki is amazing.

It's too bad he only really does redesigns, I would love to see what Naoki's Gundam would look like in the way that Exia is Ebikawa's Gundam, Barbatos is Washio's, G-Self is Akiman's, etc

I think the thing that completely sells me on this thing, it has the Kai head, I *love* that design *so much* even already being a big 2.0 Shiki fan. And it being 40% cheaper than Kai at retail? My wallet is ready.
Plus... the borderline IBO coating colors, but not metallic on main, is a big benefit to this thing. (I do like the metallic on main though to be clear)

God I love that skeletal design. I fucking want it but I already have too many kits in my wishlist and I’m too broke to get it. My mg GM sniper custom’s on its way to me though so that can probably clench my thirst for a bit.

Guys pretty new to building gunpla but can anyone explain to me the diff with Bandai and premium Bandai?
Premium Bandai or P-Bandai for short are kits that only available on online stores. Many of the P-Bandai kits are variants of other kits (Like the Endless Waltz Gundam Wing kits or high mobility 2.0 Zaku’s). P-Bandai kits also stand out from the regular stuff due to having a single color for the box art. Admittedly most are overly expensive and at times not worth it as many of them could have been regularly released kits. However some are really good such as the P-Bandai Zaku 2.0 High Mobility Type Shin Matsunaga custom Zaku (my personal favorite kit). If you yourself are looking into possibly getting one I would recommend looking up some reviews just to get an idea on what the kit looks like out of the box and compare prices from different online stores like Hobbylink Japan or Ami Ami. Hopefully this helps you friend! (P.S. if your getting into Gunpla I highly recommend the Master Grade Zaku 2.0’s, there great beginners kits with great articulation)
don't like the booster canisters. might use the original if the wings can still work. Also since I have the 2.0, would use the black kai head

Em, actually, the Kanji for Shiki wasn't even up there, so if you just pronounce the the Kanji, it sounds like Hyaku Kai which is really weird, like it just means damaged hundred, like what?
