When are coming to Namibia guys, our wonderful country has got a lot to offer. Trust me you guys won't see potholes in our roads through out promise 🤞!!!
Enjoying your channel. Gives me a chance to reconnect with Africa. Australia is great but nothing like the African bush. South Africa produces some great camping and four wheel drive gear. On the whole better than what is available in Oz I think.

Sure would be nice to see, how cool it is to see you and your family on the adventure, so we can experience the trip with you all, the excitement do's and don't with the family, sure would appreciate feedback. Have a good one boy, thank you for the opportunity to go on your wild exploration with you, we've really enjoyed every single episode of paradise, Africa really is blessed a taste of heaven on earth, thank you Ford, we love you Ford and all your fantastic Gajit's that makes the trips a breathe taking adventure NICE.
Hi Iris, glad you enjoyed the episode. Unfortunately my tribe doesn’t share the same emotions that I do with the bush. We do go out on adventures but this isn’t that show I’m afraid. Africa is amazing and holds so much beauty in its places and it’s people. The ford has been great, but Ford unfortunately has nothing to do with this show, and hasn’t contributed in the slightest. You are a bit skewed if you think the gajits make it a breathtaking adventure. The build has been backed by other brands that actually believe in me and the show. Whilst the vehicle has been great up to this point, the brand has been terrible with me and my endeavours, so I have to correct you on that one. Maybe one day ford will join in on the adventure. And yes, I do love my ford.

I just stumbled onto your channel and I must say as a South African living in Asia it is awesome to see. I have some catching up on your channel to do.
Hi. Just to let you know that cold showers are not just healthy for your body in many ways but it is also the best way to calm you down and lower blood pressure. So don't worry about hot water it is just not worth it.

Hey Eric and Ash, an awesome trip whichever way one travels. Just to be in the wild is fantastic. Explore the channel, the full 4 part series for this epic adventure is up. Enjoy and all the best for 2022
@@4x4ventures_southafrica Totally agree! Can't wait to watch the rest. We're planning to be back in Namibia and Botswana for about 6 weeks in June and July assuming that all goes weel and we can make it there! Here's to many safe and fun adventures for us all this year!
I want to thank you and Ed. I grew up in Bots but live in the UK now and its because of you guys I've convinced most of my mates to come on a Bots adventure with me.
Hi Ryan. What a great episode and thanks for sharing. Just 2 questions: 1; Why couldn't you pay park fees at the gate and had to travel back to Maun? We always paid at the gate. Is it now because of Covid? 2; Where did you buy that K9 camp chairs? I have similar chair made of wood which I use for camping for the last 20Years. It folds up so small and are light. Just another comment which I also shared with Epic Africa is that you guys to please indicate during which months did you go on these trips. Cant wait for the next episodes.
Hi Paul, thanks for the kind words and comment. Cool, so I mentioned that we travelled in April. At the gate their card machine and systems were down. We don't carry allot of cash either. The amazing K9 campchair and table are from Eeziawn. Great chair and table combo. Till the next one, cheers 🍻

Hi Ryan and Ed. Great & epic show as always. My wife & I are so hooked up to your content. We have a bakkie but don't have other accessories needed to travel for long distance or spending time in the Safari. I would like to know where one can hire these accessories (canopy with fridges etc) around South Africa? We are based in Gauteng, Pretoria to be precise. Thanks & much love
Hi Lesang, thanks for your kind words and support. We appreciate it and salute you and yours. To be honest I’m not sure if there is an option for rental of just a canopy with the necessary accessories? Canopies need fitment and interaction between all relevant components based on vehicle type etc. sorry this doesn’t help you in any way. Maybe reach out to Bushlore 4x4 off road vehicle rental company. Maybe they can assist or advise you on a way forward? Hope it helps and I’ll see you at the next adventure 👍
brother man pls tell me where i can fit a mppt with someone who knows what they doing simple setup pretty much just for the fridge sorry to ask but i know you love this stuff
Yes, as both a prevention to damage and illegal usage of any spot lights it is advisable to have solid covers on them. Remember, we only use our spots out there on dirt roads, if we travel late. I did use them in Zim, as I was running late and worry for animals, but, these spots are very bright. Legally all spots must be put on seperate switches. Namibia wont tolerate spots in front and above the vehicles, so I've heard.
You know what I always forget to ask is I see your vehicle is wrapped but Ed and Chris's vehicles aren't wrapped what do they have to protect their vehicle paint work?? Like I was at Khama Rhino Sanctuary a few weeks ago and though I know how to maneuver I couldn't help but get scratches I also saw someone in a 2mil X7 and I was so scared for his paint work...
Hi, they don't have anything to protect their paint other than a good ol polish when they get back from a trip. This works for them, as their scratches dissappear, however, on a vinyl wrap the scratches stay there for ever. Yes, the under body does stay new, but . . . depends on what works for you. Ed did have a clear protective wrap at one stage, which also worked a treat. Good stuff and hope this helps.
May I ask why you've taken your trailer with you? because you're sleeping on the bakkie. We've been to Moremi in July and the biggest challenge was the horrific roads! Other than the roads - was so great to be back in my favourite country again
I took the trailer and RTT for two reasons. 1. It was a 23 day trip and needed to carry 2 fridges. One in the car and one in the trailer. And 2. We also had quite a few 1 nighters. This is where the RTT is allot easier to use and more efficient. The trailer is great for anything over 3 nights, which we had in the middle of the trip. *Please remember that we are in the Bush for 15 days at a time, and don't have access to restock. Also, we have allot of camera gear to carry. Space is lost very quickly, and yes, weight adds up quickly. My new setup allows me to only car camp, but still heavy. I don't think there is a way of escaping weight, but there is a way to accept the compromises

An average for the latest solo trip with the new setup it is 14.2ltr per 100kms. In the sand with 4H engaged 16.5ltr per 100km and in the thick stuff, albeit for very short distances thus far, 18.3ltr per 100km. Not too bad considering.

Have to say, I enjoyed the Limpopo videos much much more than this one. Still good but it doesn’t have the feels of Limpopo.
What camera do you use to record
Sony APSC cam.
One question. Why do you have a RTT and a tent on your trailer as well? Isn't that RTT extra weight when you already have a trailer?

@@4x4ventures_southafrica loved the episode. Thanks for explaining. Makes sense. Keep up the good work!
@4x4ventures how is the fuel consumption on your Ranger when its all loaded up?
An average for the latest solo trip with the new setup it is 14.2ltr per 100kms. In the sand with 4H engaged 16.5ltr per 100km and in the thick stuff, albeit for very short distances thus far, 18.3ltr per 100km. Not too bad considering.
@@4x4ventures_southafrica not that bad. Love your rig. Thanks for the replies and info.
