Tim your photography is just stunning, I love how you captured the local community and shared their story on this episode. Those photos are so beautiful. The road to Gorongosa looked never ending but I bet the destination is definitely worth it all… looking forward to the next one!
Thank you so much, photography is my first love and actually how i have paid for this entire loss making passion project till now, so I thought I had to try start to include it some more!
Thank you! Hopefully saturday but it might be next Saturday! Don’t want to rush it because it is a special episode and I am in Nigeria at the moment so just depends how much time i have between shooting here!
@@LostinAfrica Unfortunately no, they are still as bad as they were back then. The only diference now is all the military stopping points, back then there were none.
Another amazing episode Tim! Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see what Gorongosa is like, I've never been there ... yet. Go well and safe travels boet!
Again, it was an amazing experience that you captured..keep experiencing and sharing your beautiful experiences coz it feels like we're traveling along with you.
Great video and photography , thanks for sharing. It was great to meet you and Bianca personally at the Kapstadt Brauhaus at the Waterfront in Cape Town some 2 years ago.
Great video Tim! Glad that you are using stills, was wondering if it can work for my next video. Could now see it does and to keep it simple. Well edited!
Hi There, where would you say you had your best diving experiences in Moz, we visiting as from the 3rd of July for a Month, ideally like to be where there is great diving, I know the whole coastline is great, but I'm looking for those must do's, let me know your thoughts, thx in advance.
Hi Brian, the vis is not phenomenal in moz generally, but there are amazing opportunities to see some big pelagic’s in Ponta do Ouro, Tofo and Bazaruto. The vis probably gets a bit better as you head further north, but that said I have had unbelievable vis at ponta. Tofo is literally one of my favorite places on the planet, good shark, manta and whale shark sightings, plus all the regulars.
i got pulled over in mozambique without an international licence . thought it would cost me a lot , but he let me go , none of my Safa mates could believe it
I admire your honsty about the conditions of Africa and that its not for sisies but truth be told there are countries in other continents just as bad Asia Latin America but hey great video men !
Wow Tim, love the videos! I aspire to be. I want to start youtubing and documenting my vacations, but not sure how to start. Can you please give me some tips, you edit everything so perfectly, I would also like to achieve this quality content that you provide! Kind regards Zanthé
Hi Zanthe, so i have a bit of an unfair advantage, i have been a professional photographer and film maker for many years before I tried my hand at UA-cam. So i was lucky enough to have very fancy gear the first time I filmed. But that said, if you can get an up to date smart phone, preferably an iphone, you can start producing videos! My main advice at first is simply to start filming everything, and talking to the camera at the beginning and end of every day, plus whenever something interesting happens. Then as you start to put that footage together you will realise what footage you need more of, or where you are lacking a little, and then learn from it and try again. UA-cam itself is an incredible resource to learn how to tell stories! Hope that helps, and good luck!
@LostinAfrica Hello Tim, thank you so much for the advice! I will definitely try my best and let you know. I also want to buy a camera, (preferably under 10K) but I have no knowledge whatsoever... can you please recommend something for a beginner? I really enjoy our content and appreciate your reply alot. Sorry about all the questions. Thank you in advance!
Wow! Mesmorising, forgotten how beautiful Mozambique is. Thank you for this Tim. Love it 😍
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊😊😊

Helo im Pedro from mozambique i realy like the way you show mozambique to the world.
Sorry about my english we speak portugese here😂.
Your english is better than my Portuguese! Obrigado Pedro!
That’s what I have also noticed about Mozambique. The bread is just perfect nothing like South African bread 🤞🏻
Haha i love their rolls! So good! It’s the portugese influence we don’t have in SA.
GOOD VIDEO. I do remember that from MAPUTO to BEIRA use two days by RACTIS OF toyota. and the night to rest in VILANCULOS.
Yeah that road is rough! 2 days would be heeectic!
Great video Tim! Glad that you are using stills, was wondering if it can work for my next video. Could now see it does and to keep it simple. Well edited!

You should travel further up north to Ilha de Mocambique in Nampula province !! Historic place !
I would so love to!
I’m from Kenya 🇰🇪 and tbh I’m actually thankful that our highways are amazing never complaining again 500km takes 5-7hrs driving here
I’ve been to Kenya a load, but I am dying to get up there on an overlanding trip!

I’m so jealous I can’t tell you!
Dont think there is too much overlanding being done around these parts. I must say i would be hestitant to do this trip alone so big up.
Such an incredible part of the world, so worth it!

Never been to Mozambique, what’s with all the SA taxis lol
Loads of Mozambicans work in SA and bring lots of stuff home for their holidays!
That haircut looking gangsta.
Haha thanks abuti!
in africa when they have something that is good they have to break it!
That’s not true.
Tim I thought you were going to show us your iPhone leveling trick 😂😜
What did you do about brides? Did you pay and how much?
Haha no I have to keep some tricks for those that coming camping with me! I did not pay a single bribe!
