🇺🇸 Honolulu, HI - Waikiki Beach Strip - ASMR 4K Walking Tour

Aloha from the main strip along Kalākuau Ave. in Waikiki Beach, Honolulu, HI! This is indeed the hub of international tourism in the area, and is the first place where most first time visitors would go.
It is most certainly a district catering to wealthy travelers, with high end luxury stores galore (with lower tax than many other states), and is not necessarily reflective of the "real" Hawaii, but it is definitely the spot for people watching and soaking in the sights and sounds.
Here is a casual stroll hitting up all the popular attractions on the block, including the recently revamped International Market.

When we were staying in Honolulu we stayed in the Hyatt. The traffic was always bad, but we did our research. We took the local bus almost everywhere. We left the tourist area and ate at several local establishments all by taking the bus. It was so simple, easy, and cheap. Great video! Brings back a lot of memories.

I lived in Waikiki from 2009-2019. They got iolani and punahou for the kids. I just hang out at Ala Moana and ride the 8 bus around waikiki.

In what way is this ASMR though ? To me the sounds distorted at best and not relaxing at all . I ended up turning the sound off .
