ABOUT OAHU: Oʻahu, known as "The Gathering Place", is the third-largest of the Hawaiian Islands. It is home to roughly one million people-about two-thirds of the population of the U.S. state of Hawaii.
FLIGHT PATH/ LOCATIONS: Viewers begin in Honolulu along Waikiki Beach, with impressive views of Diamond Head in the distance. From here, the journey slowly progresses along the southeastern coast to the next stop, which is a view of Koko Crater along the coast near the Kahauloa Cove. From here viewers can enjoy the rocky black lava coast as it transforms into a perfect white Sandy Beach. Experience a top-down view of the Hãlona Cove before next flying to Makapu'u Point, which is the next stop on this scenic aerial journey. At Makapu'u, you'll dip your toes in the beach and quickly glance north before flying right up to the famous Makapu'u lighthouse. (From here there is the occasional glance of Kãohikaipu Island where lies the State Seabird Sanctuary.) After enjoying a stunning view from on high of Koko Head and the coast looking south, we again turn north up the coast and next are transported to Kualoa Point, to absorb the stunning palm tree views and distant vistas of Mokoli'li Island and the far off Kaneohe Bay. Next we will attempt to reach the top of the towering green mountain behind Kualoa Ranch, and absorb the stunning perspective of the island of Oahu as seen from this beautiful shore. From Kualoa, we next are transported to the famous Mãhie Point at Huilua Pond, home of the Crouching Lion Hike which offers one of the best views anywhere on Oahu. From this perspective viewers can enjoy views in all directions, from the town of Kaawa to the south to Ahupua'a O'Kahana State Park & Kahana Bay / Makali'l Point to the North. Next on our journey we are transported to the rugged blue waters of the North Shore at Turtle Bay. This iconic resort offers panoramic views from all sides, including Kulima Cove & Point to the East & South and Kawela Bay Beach Park to the North. After departing Turtle Bay, viewers are then transported to the first of two stops on the iconic North Shore - first at Sunset Beach near Rocky Point and the Banzai Pipeline; and then to Ke Iki Beach / Rock Piles Beach near Shark's Cove, which offers majestically blue and empty white sandy beaches as far as the eye can see. From the North Shore beaches, we start the journey back to reach Honolulu at Sunset, stopping at one last lookout near the North Shore town of Hale'iwa for a glance at the view looking inland of distant Wind Farms and Northwestern coast of Oahu, and finally at a vibrant lookout of Ka'Alaea Point at Uppers Beach Park. The film ends with a slowly fading yet majestic sunset from Waikiki Beach.

Whether it be land, water, trading routes, horses, oil, markets of any kind, toilet paper or masks 😄 ... On 1.22.24 I found out my 36 week old baby's heart beat could not be found. This was one of the channel options in my labor and delivery room. It helped. It's been two weeks today since I delivered him and I lie in bed and let myself cry to this again. Peace and love be with you all.

This paradise is wonderful and lots of colours and this is a good start of relaxation in Hawaii
I stayed at the HILTON right there by the building with the green roof. The last day of our dream vacation the island got shut down due to COVID. It is expensive to do this vacation but we saved for over a year and prepaid everything we could. I wish everyone could experience the beauty and wonder of this island and others.

Too often I get caught in the daily rut and associate Oahu with the rush hour congestion on the H1 freeway, especially westbound in the afternoon trying to get from downtown through Aiea and Pearl City. I need to watch videos of Oahu like this every so often to remind myself that I do live in a very beautiful and special place.

I've been living here over a year. It's pretty, but there's a lot of things that make it not so great. Tons of petty crime, lots of traffic, many locals can be unfriendly (this part got better once I learned and adapted to their culture here more). It can be hard to enjoy the beach when you're more worried than normal someone will snag your things or break into your car. I've seen smashed car windows and thieves a couple dozen times. My truck was also vandalized when I first moved here. It's also really, really, expensive.
Johnathan Hartzell Thats a shame. Hawaii is such a beautiful island and people are just destroying it. (The whole earth is being destroyed but I won’t get into that subject today.) I still hope to visit and perhaps maybe retire in Hawaii!!

The best flight over Oahu for me was in the mid 1980s when I took a Honolulu flight schools "intro" $20, 1/2 hour lesson. One runway so we lined up behind jumbo jets taking off. The jets go over the ocean. The Cessna went over my Salt Lake condo on to Barbers Point then back over to Hono. airport. Where he let me help land. "It was cool as heck". Aloha Friday, You All! @@mikeee7425 I lived on Kaua’i , Oahu and Maui, working in hospitals as a temp. Kaua’i was my favorite , easy to find quiet beaches and people get to know each other easily there. Residents of neighbor islands want nothing to do with Oahu. Too much traffic, too crowded, all too much for them.

I body surfed and boogey boarded and several of these spots when I was in the Air Force. A magical place as you can clearly see.
I just have to say that as a Hawaii photographer/videographer, besides being beautiful, this video is technically mind blowing. Can't even imagine how long it took to film and edit this masterpiece. Non-repeating footage (most UA-cam videos like these have repeating clips), and the smooth, methodical aerial shots are something you just can't appreciate it unless you've tried to do it yourself. Amazing work, your efforts are applauded and appreciated!

I like that the beaches aren't crowded at all. Looks very secluded!
A lot depends on the time of week and hour. I visited Oahu in 2017, and many of the beaches were so crowded (on the North and South shore) that it was difficult to find parking. Previously, the last time I had visited was back in the early 1990s, and things were radically different then. Oahu has grown leaps and bounds since then.
There are a ton of relaxing/nature/meditation videos out there on UA-cam. These are (especially this one) by far my favorite! They have helped me work from home during the pandemic, as many other people have mentioned. Thanks for putting these out there for the rest of us to enjoy!
