You can see just how thick the paints are when he squeezes out that red onto the knife. Doesn't run or slide off. I imagine too many buy any old paint and end up painting with slop and wonder why the technique isn't working.

Magic White is an white oil medium. You can get it at AlexanderArt.com. Lowell uses a thinner paint. Add Magic Clear to thin our thick paint.
