I love the magic of watching a petal pop up - its a very beautifull way of demonstrating the play of color, light and dark and the movement between sharp focus and soft focus ( the variation of edges)

Wao!!!! Its been about 35 years since the last time I saw his program. I remember watching this series on TV as a kid by the mid 80's. I didn't understand half of what he was saying as I am a native Spanish speaker (PR), but I could spend the hole Saturday morning watching and learning from this great master. I'm very happy to know that he's still alive. Thanks so much for uploading this video. It brought back a lot of good childhood memories!!

Handmade brushes - how nice they looked - and as always it is as always happy painting and with a fine understanding of abstract areas in the background open to mystery and sharp and soft edges on the rose making them look like pure magic and you can literally feel them- and gorgeous tips e.g. On the edges of the rose with the push back and then the stroke - its truly the joy of beauty
