I had the wonderful experience of painting with Bill Alexander years ago. I was a certified Alexander Art Instructor and have had many wonderful years painting. I probably would not have become an artist if it weren't for his shows. I lived in Salem where they filmed for PBS. I still have and use paints I bought back then. Thank you for posting. I live in southern AZ now and still teach oil and acrylic painting. Thanks to Bill for "Teaching the World to Paint".

I don’t know if this is supposed to be an interpretation of the actual place Lake of the Woods in Ontario, Canada, but if you ever get the chance to go, do it! It’s a beautiful place and one of my favourite places to go in my country.

Awesome painting once again done by "Alexander The Great"...lol Bill had an amazing artistic talent & a larger than life personality that made him so great. I've wished for so long now that I could've met him & known him personally as a friend & as my personal painting instructor. I feel a deep sadness when I think about his passing & realize that these videos are all that we have left to cherish his memory. From the bottom of my heart I thank you very much for putting his videos out on YT so that we can still admire his work & a whole new generation has the opportunity to know him & learn from him. May you RIP Bill Alexander, the great & awesome painter of the 20th century.🎨🤗💞

what I love about Bill's work is his understanding of color harmony. None of his colors look too saturated, too dark, or too light.
The problem is people simply don't respect skill. And doesn't realize what it takes. A great idea to me.

This Channel and this Man... perfect, just as I'm about to prepare for tomorrows painting and trying to get used to speaking on camera and starting my journey here on UA-cam properly, here he is inspiring me. Almighty! Not sure whether to paint a scene or a scape tomorrow, maybe something from Joker (as that's what I feel I am in a world of professional artists haha), or maybe a beautiful landscape who knows, but I'm inspired now and looking forward to it!

@Kara Thrace You've not seen Bill rant about being "betrayed". I'm not in the feud, I just never cared for BR and never will. I was indifferent toward BR before that, but now I share Bill's disdain.

Six months to a year. When you do, make sure you do it outside. It is toxic.

matao0661 it is the same. Bill called it latex. Black house paint works and black acrylic paint works too.

Personally I like Bara's better but to say he's not the older both the greatest paint the river the spot process is a little more calm maybe I'm just used to bara Osborne but they're both gr😊 I meant to put a smile emoji in downloading but then uh but it's worth great wasn't spell probably

Bob actually perfected this style of painting and was a much better TV personality. He didn't betray William, he perfected his style and did. Much better job explaining everything. That's why he effectively put William out of business. If anyone betrayed William it was PBS. The better man won, it's the way of life.
I don't understand why some of Bill's videos don't matches the ones on the list. It's such a mess. I prefers to start at the beginning then go through to the end. Can't you re-label your videos properly? Which ones is Season 1, Episode 1? Where is this "Lake of the woods" on the list below? Bob Ross's videos are all listed properly. Why can't Bill's videos be the same? I don't understand this messy mentality. Been waiting for this answer for a long long time. All I wants is to put all of Bill's vids on my thumbdrive and play them on my tv, in an orderly fashion, from Season 1, Episode 1, to Season 9, Episode 13. There, done.
