Your dexterity painting the leaves is extraordinary
Hollyhocks are biannual. They normally spend the first year growing and the second year blooming. Then they produce seeds, which left alone will reseed itself. That’s why people think they bloom for years. Beautiful painting of one of my favorite plants.

Never thought I would ever see flowers blooming because of a painters brush.👍🏼.Now that I'm a fan and subscribing.Do you ever paint with just a pallet knife.The sound of the knife to the canvas,with the paint is very peaceful to the ear.
Lowell didn’t paint much with the palette knife while we were filming him. Buck and Bill did often though.

You know, I always thought that the “clear“ type of paint was invented by Bob Ross and the chemists that he worked with. I thought the Bill Alexander was the one to create the black and white mediums, and wow I’m sure that there was some kind of change made to warrant be able to change the name to “liquid black, and liquid white“, I didn’t know that Bill Alexander had invented a clear version as well. I will admit I kind of always wished that I knew what the major difference was between Bill Alexander’s mediums and Bob Ross’s mediums
Our new formula of Magic Clear is entirely different. I know Bill would have loved it! It is clear and all natural. Check it out on our website!

I have a painting by Lowell, and he labeled it "this bud's for you". I thought that was pretty unique. Does he typically write things like that on his paintings, or is there a story there?

I tried painting roses and leafs like you do and mine turned out awful.😢 I watch you and try to do like you but it doesn’t turn out right.
Please keep trying! It will come. Lowell has been painting for over 40 years.

The background is so dark you can't even see what he's doing horrible
Again: thousand times better than Bill Alexander's copyist and imitator Bob Ross, whom I admired for that, what he does, before I found out, that he is only a copyist and imitator)
