Are there any other hair masks that you can recommend that are not so perfumey-smelling? This one almost makes me nauseous 😕 Thank you for all you do! 💛🌹
I never hear anyone talk about that Pureology product...I use it just for hair perfume to be honest 😂 but it also is a great post pool/beach product for me because it has conditioning and wave holding properties. My hair is fine and a little wavy and it gives it a good hold without being crunchy. I've never used it as a pre blow dry but I'm guessing it would be good for that as well. Pureology leave in goes on damp towel dried hair after conditioning to lock in moisture. Also, watch his videos on proper shampooing technique. You only shampoo your scalp, not all of your hair. Professional shampoo will dry out your hair if you use it incorrectly.

Honestly I don't think every hair type needs leave in conditioner, unless you bleach your hair, do a lot of heat styling, or your hair is prone to dryness. Leave-ins provide moisture, nourishment, and extra fortification for the hair. Serums seal the hair and provide smoothness and shine.
Hair stylists sometimes recommend products for color treated hair because they contain extra moisturizing ingredients, u/v agents, emolients, etc. People with dry or even gray hair can benefit from them too. As for leave-in conditioners, they are not always "one size fits all." I like to remoisturize my hair daily with a leave-in (liquid not cream), but I don't like the oily ones.
