Um... The CR on the cam is on the exhaust side, not the intake. It looks like you may have got lucky and did not set the exhaust side while it was on the CR.

I went with .003 on both sides on my predator 18lbs springs gov removed VM 22 carb.and it runs great.

The honda certified mechanic gave you the numbers for the honda head, not the predator head. The honda head has one bigger valve.

What do you mean one bigger valve? My 212 manual says 4-6 for intake and 6-8 for exhaust but valves are a bit loud that way
