I loved using our yellow edges to stuff pocket diapers! Our microfiber inserts got stinky real quick with our medium hard water! I also love how I could keep all our prefolds and maybe my daughter would use them on her babies? While my pocket diapers and other diapers the electric is shot and couldn’t save those! I’ve also used the preemie prefolds on myself like a panty liner!
It definitely took me a while to know what the prefold is but it’s now one of my faves. I fold it loads and put it at the front for my son. Loving how you used the bear as a model :) hehe
Hey Alaina you are my favorite UA-camr in the cloth diaper category. . Mainly for the vlogs, vegetarian meals, and the way you diaper your kiddos. You keep things simple and relatable. I wish you left the bible verse from Matthew in your about me section. I usually advise people who want to learn about cloth to watch your channel.
So many sizes for the cloth-eez Prefolds!! Trying to figure out how many of which sizes to put on my registry.
My first experience with cloth diapers I had microfibers pocket diapers and tidy tots system. It was so awful leaks everywhere. Anyways someone gave us their organic blueberry stash and some prefolds which saved us. You already convinced me to buy green mountain diaper flats and maybe some prefolds. I’m getting excited to try again with much more knowledge this time around❤️

Hi Laina, I would love to get your opinion on wetbags vs pail liners. I haven’t seen much content on that topic in the cloth diaper community.
I actually haven't owned any pail liners, I just use wet bags or small, open laundry baskets.

Hiya! Do you still use your DIY fitted diapers that you made from prefolds?
Most of the ones I made were newborn size (out of small prefolds) and I actually didn't use them much with our newest baby Barret.
I have the new born fitted diapers from GMD, will they be ok for baby to wear in hospital? I’m due less than two weeks ❤️❤️❤️
I think so. They fit our new baby when we got home from the hospital. He was born 7 lb 7 oz and got down to a little under 7 before gaining his weight back.

Hola! I speak from my husband's account =). I finally decided to use cloth diapers, I know that there are many opinions and that each mama/papa will have a preference, but I like your opinions, which are quite sincere. In the end I decided to use one size covers and flats. I do not live in the United States and I will travel very soon to visit some relatives and get my diapers =) for my baby who will be born in October. So I want to buy products that are of good quality at a fair price, considering that I cannot obtain all the brands in my country to be buying all the time. I wanted your opinion about some products that you already use and if you recommend them to me.
How these one size covers have been helding?

I also wanted to know, since you have used GMD medium size prefolds a little more, if you were to buy everything again as if it were the first time =), would you buy more prefolds than flats, or more flats?... I was thinking of buying 30 GMD muslin flats and 4 medium size prefolds and a couple of fitteds, but then I saw that you liked the prefolds so I didn't know if you would change those numbers.

Sometimes I do wonder if buying a ton of GMD medium prefolds would be easier for a lot of families than getting the muslin flats. So yeah, if you're considering it, maybe prefolds would be the way to go: less folding, a tad more dry time, but still great quality from GMD.
As far as covers...
Imagine do not have a crossover snap and run a little big, so baby would be a little older before they fit, I think.
Diaper Rite are nice, maybe the smallest fit on your list, but should still work until potty.
Nickis I really enjoy.
Petite Crown I really like too.
All have held up well, no quality issues I have seen.
