Thank-you so much! Baby is due in 3 months and I just got a massive bag full of cloth diapers from my cousin, and there were a bunch of different styles and I had no idea where to start or what I was doing... I was regretting my choice to attempt cloth diapering before even starting! I feel much clearer on what the heck is in that bag and not so overwhelmed to go through it now! Thanks again for the time and effort you put into your content!
Thank you so much for being so direct and informative. I really appreciate you not having any distractions or loud noise in the background while making the video. Definitely subscribed
I love this. It was very informative. I am thinking on cloth diapering my little one( that's on the way) and I have been doing research for the best one and this has been the only one that has covered all the styles. So thank you.
Thank you so much for explaining so well and summarizing all the types of reusable diapers out there. As a first time mum I was overwhelmed and confused about what to choose but this video just made it all so clear.
Very informative. Your video has made me feel a lot more confident about my potential choice of cloth diapering or at least part time cloth diapering. I hate the waste we create with those plastic diapers that we send to the landfill and I’ve come to learn that children are more reluctantly potty trained. I really regret not giving this a shot with my first 2 as well as EC. 😢
Thank you so much for this super informative video! I haven't had my baby yet but I got all pocket diapers from from my family and friends so I'm thinking that if they are just not working for me, then I will buy prefolds (folded in the second way you showed us: with the wings and pinned) or fitted diapers and just use the pocket diaper's outer shells as covers.
Me & my husband are both stuck between the example of the all in 2 “snap” insert and the pre fold with just a liner. Does the snap connecting to the liner really make much of a difference? I can see it holding in place but it doesn’t seem like a huge difference from just laying it in the liner, wouldn’t it not move around if the liner is snug to baby? I hope that makes sense, maybe there’s another reason the snap would be best for some people! Please help lol a little lost
Hello! Someone gave me clothe diapers the cover from SHEIN , I am not sure if use them or not.. any recommendation about these ones the quality and if possible they can harm the skin ?
For the prefold option for some reason, in my head, I thought you could just lay the fold in there in stead of snapping that on to baby first.. can it be done this way or will it cause leaking? This is my first time! Sorry for the laymen’s terms. I appreciate this video and have watched it twice already. :)
You can lay a prefold in a cover if it’s newborn poop it will more then likely get on the cover because it’s more runny . So if your trying to cut down on buying covers using a snappy might be a better option .But newborn poop is all water Soluble so no need to spray out the poop, just pop in the wash.
So, this was an awesome video! I love your website, and I'm super excited that you also have a UA-cam channel! :) My husband and I haven't started having kids yet, but I'd absolutely love to cloth diaper when we do! :) I already use Charlie Banana cloth menstrual pads and love them, so I'm already at least a little bit familiar with using reusable products. I also plan to use cloth wipes for our kids. Even with having to do laundry every couple of days, I think we'd still be saving money, particularly if we have more than one kid and use cloth. I just had a quick question, though. I'm totally blind, so maybe I just don't get this because of that, but how exactly are fitteds and AI2s different than each other? I mean, they both have the waterproofing and absorbing layers separate from each other, but there has to be more to it than that, otherwise there wouldn't be two different types of diapers lol. Can someone please enlighten me? :) Thanks a ton!
Thank you for reading and watching. So fitteds and ai2's are very different, but it's totally possible that they 'sound' the same when described... I've never thought about that, but I will now, thank you!!! Ok so a fitted diaper first of all has no waterproof layer, you have to use it with a diaper cover. It looks like a whole diaper though, with elastics at the legs and sometimes even rise and leg snaps... Looking at it, it looks like the whole thing. If it's white it even kinda looks like a disposable diaper. But it's all absorbent layers, there's no waterproof bit. An all-in-two Ai2 is a diaper cover with snap in inserts. The inserts are long strips of absorbent layers that lay in the middle of the cover, snapping into it to hold it in place (whereas for example a pocket diaper keeps the insert in place by stuffing it into the pocket). So and Ai2 is two pieces: the cover, and snap in insert. Hope that helps! ❤️
Aww, thanks so much! It actually took me forever to find the doll, ha ha. I just bought it off the Facebook Marketplace from someone. I had scoured the internet and stores to find some sort of larger doll for years, with no luck. They I guess aren't popular anymore? 🤷♀️
@@ClothDiapersforBeginners Yep that definitely explains it because I’m having the hardest time myself 😂 I’ll keep my eyes peeled on the bst’s thanks so much 🌺
That was the most informative video on cloth diapering I’ve ever seen. Thank you!! It helped a lot!
Aww, thank you!
Agreed!
Very much agree such a to the point video I was looking for 👏🏽
omg finally a simple, concise, helpful cloth diapering video!
Aww, that means a lot, thank you!

Thank you for sharing!! I picked up a handful of cloth diapers at the thrift store and wasn't sure about all the variety.
This was a really comprehensive video.. this needs to be easier to find among all the other videos about this topic
Ive watched a bunch of these videos and this one was by far the most complete! Thank you!

Thank you so much for the kind words! ❤️
This was the best overview on UA-cam or elsewhere I have seen so far. Thank you so much!
omg, I know this is such a specific niche - but THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video - it was super informative!

I agree. The pocket and all in one diapers are easier if you have people around you that don't want to deal with prefolds.
What a great video! Finding this first would have saved me so much time in research. Going to share this with my partner for an easy tutorial
Aww, that made my day! Thank you, Jessica!
Thank you for explaining swim diapers. I never new that.
Happy to help! :-)
This was really helpful. I was feeling very overwhelmed reading about all the different styles of cloth diapers. Thanks!
God bless you for this helpful introduction! Just starting my research as I enter third trimester and this was the best intro I have found!!

Super awesome explanation of all the types. I wish I had this when I was starting. But it’s great to see now and to share this with others who ask!

Thank you so much for this video!!! Truly explained everything so well!!!
Thank you for this. It was very thorough and brief
This video explains a lot and took away the mystery of all those diaper names!
This was perfect. Thank you so much for being short and sweet!
Thank you so much, I have been struggling figuring all this out with my newborn!
I'm looking for this video thanks much❤
literally the only video that made sense to me! thank you!
Best review on UA-cam
Actually a good helpful video!! Annoying its taken weeks to come across you but glad i did!
Oh my goodness I can’t believe I didn’t see this back when I was trying to decide what to buy!
Very useful information thank u
Thank you so much for this! I'm feeling much better about diving into this the 4th time around 🤣
Really informative video! Thank you

Can you re-use the AI2 cover with a new insert? Since it snaps on top like the cover with prefold.
That was very helpful. Thanks
Wonderful - thank you so much!
Great video! Thanks!
Thankyou so much, this is it, very informative, i will try the pocket diaper, for our baby girl, will born on this September ❤💙💖

What kind of cover is that it has a flap on both sides that you can tuck the trifold in it? Not all of the covers jave that.
this is exactly what i needed, thank you 🙂
Thank you!
THANK YOU

THANK YOU!!!!!
Thank you 🚼
I saved this video for when I have a baby!
Thank you very informative?
Great job!
That was awesome thank you!!!!
What’s the least messy ?
In my opinion all in 2s are the most simple to use in terms of cleaning
Love your channel! This video was so informative! I have not encountered prefolds before, do you have to use the pins for them or just place in cover?
Thank you so much, that made my day! You can totally just place them in the cover if you like. It's called "pad folding." :-)
@@ClothDiapersforBeginners I have bunch of pocket diaper that I was gifted can I use those as covers?
How do I get this please
Another great vid thanks so much 💕
