I def have a bicentennial Quarter with no mint mark and in the best shape I've ever seen all ridges and lines are pretty much perfect and it's circulated but barely it seems. I can show pics it's up for grabs too
I have a bicentennial DDO / DDR Denver mint still sealed in original mint set packaging! I’m seeking a serious buyer now. I’ve held on to this piece for a while now. I’d like to sell it to buy a new toy 😁
Thank you for sharing this info. I have two bicentennial sandwiched quarter's, one nickle with buffalo, on back and not sure how many wheat leaf pennies.
The funny thing about most doubled dies is they REALLY do look like machine doubling. I have to argue in groups online over it and make photos and SS just to get others to back down 🤣 Also alot of doubled dies have plenty of die abrasions / die scatches is another good indicator of a doubled die coin and knowing this its easier to spot them. Of course some are just plenty more rare than others and why market range differs and of course grade.
I do have bicentennial quarters in very good condition. I would like to have more information. Your video is very informative. I also have what I believe to be a proof by bicentennial Quarter
Ok, I'm some what new to this & don't quite understand all the grading ways yet & what to look for. I have a bicentennial without a mint mark & seen online where one went for almost 3,000. Mine is in good condition so what I would love to know is mine worth that? Thank you & love your channel
I have 360 bicentennial quarters. About 40-50% are D mark. Just the mint mark does not make them valuable but an error or true double stamping and to what degree make it valuable. To save you from wasting your time out of my 360 none of mine are worth anything more than face value. My grandma and I collected them for decades. Oh well.
Ive been search for a value on one of these thats been in circulation but its not a Double Die. Its as if it didnt get pressed hard enough. It out of shape, thick, the ribbed edge is smooth, and missing a lot of detail. Ever heard of anything like this?
i work at a gas station, opened a roll of quarters from the bank with a pristine coin in it, not a single scratch, full frosted face and mirrored background, front and back.. i cant tell what you are showing with the 'doubling' but the D mint mark looks misshapen, almost like a rectangle.. would that count? and where would i go to sell it? honestly i dont care if i get the best price for it, but i would like to know its actual value.. but i feel like if i go to a coin place they are going to low ball me (to be clear, lets say the coin is actually worth $500.. but if i took it to a coin shop, i feel like they might tell me the coin is worth $250, then try to buy it for $100.. i dont care about getting more then the $100, id happily sell it for that amount even if the coin was worth $500, but i want an honest evaluation of the coin)
But back to the bicentennial on the internet they were talking about it doesn't have a mint mark but it was maybe made in Philadelphia and they say they range from 12 million to 20 million if there's any chance that you are interested I would give you really good prices on them please let me know thank you and have a good day
I have about 12 bicentennial quarters 1976. I was trying to see the ones that you was talking about the doubling I have some of them that's doubled and some of them got the different colors in them like
I have 5 of those Bicentennial quarter's , no mint mark except for 1 It has a D mint mark that is filled in. Do you think it's worth anything?? Its in pretty good condition. Somebody lmk if it's worth money.
I have a bunch of bicentennial error quarters. Both in circulated and in mint sets plus my s proof set is doubled.
