- Oil Change! Carrera (Porsche 911 3.2 Liter)
That time of year again and Shamoo (our 1986 Porsche 3.2 Carrera Cabriolet) get an oil change. I run you through all the steps and, as usual, I have a few DIY tips/tricks/hacks to make the job a little easier and help you get better results. Oil changes are an easy way to bond with your car and give you an opportunity to poke around and look for things that may need attention.
What you’ll need:
• Oil Filter: MAHLE OC54
(goo.gl/26HMfh)
• Aluminum crush washer
(goo.gl/MxXus1)
• 10-12 Qts/L oil
• At least a 4 gal oil collection pan/bucket. Two are best.
• 15mm socket
• Torque Wrench
• Optional: Silicone grease, oil filler cap gasket, quick drain, magnetic drain plug (if you don’t have one already)
So, I got a question about the drain plug... Do a search on Amazon: Fumoto FG7BN Engine Oil Drain Valve (22mm-1.5)
goo.gl/zWGxzH
Just be careful about clearance... They do make valves without the extension. I even saw a right angle version: Fumoto F309L Engine Oil Drain Valve (22mm-1.5)
goo.gl/TFLQAE
Drain Plug torque specs: 70nM (51.63 ft lbs) & 42nM (30.98 ft lbs) per Porsche Technical Specifications 84-87 (1st edition 12/86) page 63
If you don’t have access to a lift be super careful if you jack up the car. Use good and strong jack stands. Be safe!
Please dispose of your oil responsibly. Auto parts stores and most oil change places will take it for free.

To anyone commenting. We appreciate your concern about Franny's hair. Yes, it is an illusion on how close it was, but she has cut her hair since the video. Thanks! Heidi
Your engine and undercarriage are very clean and no rust. You really take care of your Carrera. Nice! This was very helpful.
Thanks Cole, It was a mess when we got it. Each time I work under there I clean a little more :) Glad the video was helpful! Franny
Great video once again on the oil change Franny, always a pleasure to watch…
Excellent video! Glad I watched this, as I completely overlooked the oil filler cap gasket that you mentioned - it significantly improved the idle of my car. Thank you for putting these together and keep up the great work!
Glad I came across this channel through Nick, really excited for the upcoming videos! :)
Yea and welcome. I hope you enjoy. Heidi
Tui is right - this is a well produced, informative and entertaining channel!
Thanks Franny and Heidi (and Tui)!
Nick is sort of thanked too. He’s a Solid 5/10.
Audio, Editing and production overall on your videos are awesome. Thank you for this
Thanks so much!
Greetings from Brazil! I loved your channel. Keep up the good work!
+André Luiz thank you! We will do our best. Welcome to our channel. Heidi
I have watched more You Tube videos concerning oil change in a Porsche. One thing that 'definitely' sets yours apart is that you do the intro wearing pearls. Pure class!!!
LOL. Franny likes to do that! She would look funny without earrings. Heidi
Beautifully produced video
Nick Murray thanks! That's a huge compliment coming from you.
Heidi and Franny's Garage Nice job! a dog named Tui sent me here. Love the channel! Subscribed. Keep it up. I believe you will reach 1000 subscribers very soon
I came here because of Nick. Thanks Nick and Heidi and Franny....
Excellent presentation! When Tui talks, I listen.
Thanks Bobby! Welcome! Franny
I took Nick Murray's advice and turned in to your channel and what a joy it has been. It's so nice to see a clear concise video about automotive parts and maintenance, as a woman I appreciate that and thank you.
kamas love wow. Thank you. We have a few DIY to check out and just released a really fun ride down to Colorado Springs yesterday. Welcome to our channel! Heidi.
Thanks Franny!!! Great job!!!!!!!
you gals are awesome i just bought a 3.2 Carerra just waiting for it to arrive 👍
Really? That's great! They are so fun. Let us know how it goes when you get it!
What a pro - really helpful - thanks 😊
Excellent, clear and no bull****. Very helpful, thank you Franny!! I'm not terribly keen on the oil tank tap, since it looks a bit vulnerable to damage from stones etc..?
Great video!
Really enjoyed that and inspired to do the oil change on my 964 now - getting it in the air is the hard part without a lift!
PLEASE be careful!!! Before we had lifts, Franny used jack stands and jacks but as an extra precaution, she would put (summer or winter) spare wheels sideways stacked on top of each other as an extra precaution in case the car came off the jack stands. You can also look into portable scissor lift, they aren’t that expensive. If you wait until our video tomorrow, you will see a photograph of how we would jack it with both the jack stands and jack. If you are going to do this regularly, please at least consider a scissor lift. Heidi
You can make filling the oil easier by using a funnel with a flexible spout. They're dirt cheap and any decent accessory shop will sell them. Loved the video
Very nice video and easy for a novice to understand what is happening...many thanks.
uncommonplaces You bet! Thanks! Franny
I just found your channel love it new subscriber
Very well explained oil change
Dwayne Rose Thanks Dwayne! f
Great video. Thanks!
You know your stuff. Great video.
Thanks! f
Awesome job!
Wonderful, clear tutorial.
Regarding my 1986 911 3.2 -if my dipstick is where YOU suggest but my oil GAUGE isn’t moving much (just a little) and hovers a bit over the red but definitely not IN the red should I have my GAUGE checked or...?
Ya know, as far as the gauge goes I just get a correlation from the dipstick to the gauge and just be ok with that. The gauge is literally just a float in the oil tank. It can be adjusted. As long as you see it move and you are happy with the movement I would say you are ok.
Big thumbs up!
Another note - when pouring the quarts of motor oil, I find it easier to pour the bottle when it's flipped the other way, with the "neck" on top instead of the bottom.
Kevin Thanks Kevin! I'll give that a try. Franny
You guys have a very strong start to your channel much stronger start the my channel (my videos were so bad early on) just try and stay lively throughout your whole video especially when doing over 10 minute long videos. Good stuff!
I know, long videos can be challenging. I have one coming up this weekend. Hope you check it out. Thanks for the feedback. Heidi
Wow great idea with valve and tube!
+billiam S thanks!
Great work!
Thanks! Just wait for the 993... That is a bit more involved ;)
Hallo Fran again just like the draining of the filters on the 993 pinch a hole in the filter, this time however on the up side of the filter this allows air to enter the filter so it drains the oil in the tank so avoiding getting a mess while unscrewing the filter !! Success greetings Arnold
Yup, same thing here... Funny, I've not had too much spillage on the 3.2, but I sure had a big mess to clean up when I bought the car. That may be an issue of a proper filter with the correct check valve. This filter lives up pretty high so I think that helps too. Thanks again for the tip! Franny
Great instructional tutorial. I didn't know about the quick drain from Pelican! The walk through on checking oil level and temp on the gauges in addition to checking the dipstick with engine running (and the drop in rpm check) was extremely helpful as well, I didn't realize the sender is located in the oil sump.
Cool.
Looks like you're using VR 1?
Yup... Valvoline VR1 Racing 20W50. So much fuss over oil, but I like the high Zinc and, and... You can get it at most auto parts stores! Comes in handy when you are on a trip and you want to top off a little (and forget to replace the bottle from last time..). I've been using it in the three older cars. The three newer get synthetic.
Heidi and Franny's Garage I know what you mean! I was afraid to ask which oil you were using for fear of starting an oil thread!
It could still happen. Lol.
New Carrera owner here, great video thanks!
Congrats on your new car :)
Coming up next . Bald Franny. Great tutorial.
Great videos like this save a lot of heartbreak to those who do not know.
Thanks.
I use Penrite oil with extra zinc in it, to help lubricate camshaft bearing surfaces.
Really like your ability to impart your knowledge so clearly, adding fine points most often overlooked. Only one comment on an otherwise excellent video, Your pony tail near that fan belt on a running engine got me squirming. Thanks again!
Yup, good point on my hair. It is a bit compressed due to the lens, but I have shortened my hair a bit.
I just love your vids, I’ve owned an ‘86 3.2 for the last 5 years and just installer a Momo Prototipo. :-) would you be willing to provide a link to purchase one of those valves? I looked on Pelican and couldn’t locate it. Tyvm and you both seriously rock!!!
thank you
Hey Franny,
I just bought a 1989 Porsche Carrera. I'm a complete beginner when it comes to working on my car so your videos are so amazing for me!! I've watched all of them.
I had a question, how did you successfully torque the Fumoto Drain Valve to spec? I can't get my socket around it for the torque wrench due to the lever
Your video was excellent
+Tommy Koutsopetras thank you!
Lovely video.. and your ponytail is so bouncy!
Thanks! ...and gets into everything ;) I should probably think about getting it trimmed a bit. Welcome to the channel :)
Thanks
Not bad ladies, funny thing is I have almost the exact same cars as you do with me in Switzerland, a 63 B Super 90 Cab and a 87 3.2 Cab. Keep up the good work, you guys have pretty good taste in cars!
+Donny Atkinson Hamilton very cool! What part of Switzerland?
The southeastern part of the country (Domat/Ems) about a hour and half drive from Zurich, been here about 9 years, home is Reno, Nevada where I grew up with the Old Car bug and now have imported 3 cars in from the states.
+Donny Atkinson Hamilton your living the dream. That’s what I want to do. My extended family is all in Germany and Belgium. I love Switzerland. I actually found a shop there called ‘Heidi’s’. Met the owner - Heidi.
I learned things!
Thumbs up! Great video and fantastic resource! I wish my 993 was that easy! LOL ! :)
911Percent yeah. It's way easier than the 993. I think we took five hours doing our 993 (first time) last year. Check out Jacob's video (link in the description) for an awesome 993 oil change. Heidi and Franny.
Love it.. Franny any vids on 911sc 3.0 cold start issues?
Great video. Use a crows-foot extension to fit that tight space for torquing the oil drain bolt.
Also, not sure why your dash light for oil remained on while you were watching that gauge. I always go with the capacity spec. for the engine and back off about a quart so I can top off correctly as needed. Please always double check that the old filter gasket came off with the removal. That's an easy oversight but one that could cost a bunch. You need a nice sized funnel with flexible tube to do the fill safely. Again, thanks for the videos.
Thanks for the tips!
Nick sent me your way. Nice channel ladies!
Thanks so much! Welcome! Franny
Hi everyone, Today was Shamoo's oil change! I run you through all the steps and all the tools and parts you'll need. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below. Thanks for watching! Franny
p.s. Just got a question about the drain plug... Do a search on Amazon: Fumoto FG7BN Engine Oil Drain Valve (22mm-1.5)
Just be careful about clearance... They do make valves without the extension. I even saw a right angle version: Fumoto F309L Engine Oil Drain Valve (22mm-1.5) f.
Great video. I have a question; What's the best kind of oil for a '77 Porsche Coupe 911 2.7?
If I add the “quick drain” is a “crush washer recommended? Love your concise video, great info, simply stated and wonder definiation
I just looked and there is a gasket under it - I'm pretty sure it came with that. Never a leak. Some folks are a bit worried that if it got hit, it could shear off and drain the tank, but if you hit something that pulls it off, it won't be subtle and you will have many other issues ;) Just something to keep in mind. Sure does make the oil change so much easier. No more torquing the plug and it won't wear out the threads either.
The Fumoto valve should come with a nice paper/felt washer-gasket that goes between it an the oil pan. Oil soaks into the felt (I think) and swells it up. They work! I've found that every 40,000 miles or so I check the valve with my Crescent wrench to see it has come loose/needs a tiny bit of snugging.
Thanks again!! Can you do one on the 993 oil change or have I not found it yet?? Should have learned it long ago but just too lazy. Had an SC at one time-the 80s 911s with the carrera tails-those are the ones!!
And noticed the yellow car on the lift to the right-have one of those but in very much worse and non runable condition--Love your stuf!!!!
Hi Robert, Here ya go: ua-cam.com/video/muyDgZV_O0k/v-deo.html The 993 is a bit involved compared to the other 911s. Ours is a very early car so is a tad different than the later 993s, but the video works for both. Enjoy! Franny
Reflections on my purchasing of a Carrera 4 , sight on scene. ? Any way seven thousand dollars later. Now it's a fun and enjoyable to drive. This spring l will be doing my first oil change , Any tips. ? ( 1989 Carrera 4 )
Great video! It does however make it look like your hair came awfully close to the fan belt... Let's not have an Isidora Duncan repeat!
Thanks for taking the time and effort to produce this!
Great video for newbies. The Fumoto valve is a must, it makes it really easy as the oil tank has a lot of oil!! What concerns me is how Porsche has been changing the specs of the oil along time. I see you have used 20w50 as per the old specs, and I have just poured 10W60 on mine as per late recommendations... crazy, and probably would nobody understand the change after long discussion.
Yeah... oil... There are a couple reasons I use that oil - it gets changed often, I can find it locally anywhere so if we are up in the mountains and I need some I'm good. And, I like the zinc content. By all means use what you feel is the best. Oh, I have another 90deg Fumoto valve and I'm debating if I want to install it on the engine.
@@HeidiandFranny Unbelieveably I had to take out the Shell 10W60 fully synthetic after only 200km, as the engine was leaking from every point underneath. Now it runs with Valvoline VR1 20W50 and the engine is again stone dry, all leaks have disappeared. Note for all those who want to try the fully-synth way... at least avoid the Shell fluid.
Just out of curiosity, why don't you have one of those nifty quick drain valves for the engine sump, too?
Greetings from Germany. Keep up the great work.
Safely note: at times your hair looks a bit close to rotating parts, ..!
Yup! I noticed that too when I was editing... Good tip! I need to get my hair trimmed anyway ;)
Thanks for your comment :) Franny
Your hair is fine, it just needs an O ring for safety. Glad Nick pointed me in your direction.
To all us reef tank owners, those buckets look familiar 👍. And lastly, you need more screwdrivers in the wall rack 🤔🤔🤔
Just picked up a 1982 911 SC in the same Grand Prix white. I am trying to determine the best oil for the 3.0. I'm split between mobil 15w50 vs. VR1 vs. Castrol classic zinc 20w50. Even Shell Rotella T5 looks good.
We used Valvoline VR1 racing oil for our older classics.
@@HeidiandFranny Thanks for the recomendation.
Great tutorial! Any plans to do brake work on the 3.2, even including caliper replacement?
+sportscarnut thank you! We do need to bleed the brakes and service the front wheel bearings, which will involve removing the calipers. I will add it to our list of items to do in the upcoming winter (brrrrr) months. Franny.
Thank you!
Hi Franny, Great informative videos!
Question: The dipstick in my car is showing the right amount of oil but when I drive and step on full throttle, the orange stick in the oil level gauge goes down. Is that a normal thing then? When I just cruise everything is fine and exactly in the middle. Thank you so much.
Yes, that is how it should be. When the engine spins up it pulls oil from the tank so you will see that level drop. Checking the oil on these cars (because dry sump) is a bit strange. The engine has to be completely warm and on a level surface and allowed to idle for a minute or so. Best to check when returning to the garage after a run.
Where did you get the clear tube that fits into your drain plug?
Nick Murray brought me here😉
Yea! Welcome!
I do not have a quick drain on the oil tank, are the both plugs the same size (911-107-176-03)? torque 51for both? should I change both or OK to change only the one on the engine? Motul 5W-40 Syn for NJ summer? 1985 911 carerra 307K miles Thanks so much!!
I think the two plugs are different... It has been a while... You need to drain both. Just remember there is a lot of oil so be ready for that!
Great video! I like your platform lift, do you know the lifting points for a 2 post lift?. Thanks
Shoot for the suspension hard mounts. The torsion tubes in the wheel well is a strong point and you can get pads for the factory jack points as well.
@@HeidiandFranny Thanks for the reply and appreciate the info
Hello to you both from here in the U.K. 🇬🇧
Great video love your cars..
Go get yourself a Porsche/Ferrari Wolley hat so that you keep that lovely long hair.xx
+Wal-goals yes. We have had several comments to that effect. Thank you for caring. She needs a haircut too, that would help. Heidi
Great video. Would be great if you do same with a boxster 3.2.
Best greetings from Denmark
Philip
Hi Philip, I did do an oil change on a 986 Boxster: ua-cam.com/video/Gts45OYsOh8/v-deo.html&ab_channel=HeidiandFranny%27sGarage
The 986 is pretty much the same (minus the dipstick). We used to own an 2006 Boxster S. Loved it! Great car! Franny
Great, Thank you for that. I have been looking at one which i would like to buy this summer.
Very nice video. You are very thorough and make everything look easy.
Take care.
All the best
Philip
Why not use the best oil on your Porsche? Like a high quality synthetic, (Amsoil or Penzoil Platinum)
Hello and great vidéo .i have 1 question about the oil , why you use 20w50 oil ? A y oil consomption ? Thank you
It was recommended to us and we have used ever since.
Back in the 80's, 20W-50 conventional oil was a normal oil for a German car like this.
Is there a practice size and , or, brand of shoes“quick drain” you would recommend
Hi. There should be linked provided in the description. Hope that helps.
At 2.28 her ponytail is real close to that spinning belt 🤭
Thanks for the tutorial, clear and well explained. BUT : BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU GET NEAR THE PULLEYS : I WAS ALWAYS AFRAID YOUR HAIR WOULD GET CAUGHT WHEN YOU WERE TAKING TOWARD THE CAMERA.
You are a very brave woman as you hair poney tail flies around the turbine !!!!!😵😵😵😵
Yep, and we were able to do a video and all.
Not related but... what is your recommendation for the fan belt and AC compressor belt deflection (when pushing hard to a stop) the belt mid-point?
sportscarnut I don't really go by deflection... My test is if you can turn the engine over with the alternator/generator... If you can then the belt is too tight. You should have to pinch the belt together to get enough traction to rotate the engine through a complete revolution. "Too loose, no juice; Too tight no bearings!"
My feelings exactly. I searched the documentation and it is all over the map - Bentley says a deflection of 5mm, Wayne's book 15mm... How do you decide it is too loose? Any way to email you directly?
sportscarnut our email is listed somewhere.... You can private message us with your email or you can post an email here for us to contact you. We are working on a website that will allow for you to get in contact with us too. Thanks for understanding. Heidi
Looks like you could use one more Fumoto valve ;)
I think we did buy one with a right angle for under the car. That should help with the mess :) Neat valves! Franny
Porsche 911 CSI tarbo eingan how much letr oil plz com reply me dear Mam
Do you have the oil analyzed b4 changing to be sure it needs it or do you do it by guesswork?
I go by the manufacture's suggested oil change interval.
Very clear and very clean. How long have you have the 911 and how many miles does it have?
Hi there. It's a little over a 100K miles. We are working to make Shamu a beautiful car. I am glad you appreciate the car too. Heidi
Thanks for your reply. I have no doubt that this particular 911 is in safe hands - and I've never said that to a female before regarding a car :)
Great video, I felt so bad when the old oil overshot the pan 😫
steffydog1 I kept telling myself "Don't forget to move the pan, don't forget to move the pan!" Well... It totally pasted one of the little cameras too... Oh well, live and learn (or not ;) ) f
The cars and garage look spotlessly clean, doh, what a pain. Keep smiling x
How do I remove battery from 1986 Porsche 911?
Pretty straightforward... Disconnect the negative terminal first, then the positive. There is a bracket holding the battery down, then lift it out. Install is the reverse.
I use Brad Penn in my SCs
nicely done the video quality is amazing and the content is valuable as well do you guys have any cool photo of your cars or an Instagram?
automotive mech hi. I am trying to use Instagram more. It's called heidiandfrannysgarage. Heidi
automotive mech and thanks! Appreciate the compliment. I will tell Franny.
nice i started following you. i'm no instagram pro but i would make sure to tag your pictures for example if you would like more porsche enthusiast to be able to see you photos you will want to add the #porsche hash tag or #porshe1986 this will get you more views looking forward to seeing more pics of your car!
also I can feature a photo of one of your cars in my instagram and tag you in it or what not. you could send me a photo of cars at automotivemechcontact@gmail.com only if you want to
automotive mech lol. That's right. I totally forgot to do that. Heidi
Hey all, for the Fumoto Drain Valve, can it also be used on the main tank? Also, what is the torque rating for it?
Hi Anthony, they do make a 90° version. I ordered one but it had the wrong threads and I haven't replaced it. It has a rubber gasket if I remember correctly so tight enough it doesn't leak. I've never had a problem with it and it sure makes oil changes easy! F
@@HeidiandFranny Thank you for the info! So you could technically buy two of those for each tank when changing oil? Also, I was wondering which book is best to track down torque specs? Thanks for the help :)
@@nickname-ant I think you could get a straight and then a 90deg one. The best place for torque specs is the Porsche service manual. After that I also use the Bentley manual. Good luck!
@@HeidiandFranny did you use the crush washer or was the o ring on it enough??
@@nickname-ant I can't remember but I think just the gasket they produced.
What kind of oil did you use? Synthetic?
I like the Valvoline 20W50 Racing. Redline is also another good choice.
I’d like to know what oil was used for this? Debating non synthetic oil
That is Valvoline 20W50 Racing with added zinc. I use that in the 356, 3.2 and the 308.
Heidi and Franny's Garage I appreciate that I’ve been researching oil with zinc in my 88 911. People are all over the place but I tend to believe your take! Thx
Some notes from a fellow tidy mechanic, thinking of that oil filter location.
A Form-A-Funnel is a nice option to have sometimes.
formafunnel.com
Of course, after I bought one, I realized that aluminum foil from the kitchen can work, too.
I don't know what kind of access or sight lines you have from underneath that car, looking up at that oil filter area, but here's my tip to reduce "SPLOOSH!" when removing an oil filter: drain it first!
Get a large nail. (Look in the rain gutter section of the hardware store. BIG nail.) Sharpen it just a little with a file or a grinder. Put the tip of the nail at the lowest point on your filter, tap it gently with a hammer, it will penetrate the steel can with ease. Remove nail from hole and now the filter will drain.
Sometimes adding another hole for air access speeds up the filter's drip. Yeah, I tend to give these things an hour (or an overnight) before finishing the oil change.
If not a Form-A-Funnel, you could also catch oil coming from a hole in that oil filter with a funnel with a tube, perhaps. Alas, I've not done an old 911 oil change, so this advice may only be for... other cars.
A bit of advice based on my 35 years of Porsche experience as a driver; I would remove that drain valve from the oil tank and reinstall the proper factory drain plug. It's not that much work to pull out the drain plug and replace it when changing the oil. I would never risk an engine by using a drain valve of that type and have it fail while you're driving, regardless what anyone says. There is a reason why they are not used by the factory... Also, watch that hair and sleeves, hands, etc. around moving parts. I do know someone who had their hair caught in a rotating fan belt/pully, and had a significant amount of hair ripped out. It was an awful sight to say the least. Take care!
Thanks for the advice! Franny
Awesome. Thanks for the comment. You and Franny have the same number of years of working on cars. Franny has 35 too! Heidi
Salut stp ses quoi comme huile qui faut mettre???☹️911 3,2
Please email our contact us on our website. I do not remember offhand.
iiiFranny please wear a net or pleate in your hair. I can see you going into the belts head first and you being scalped.
I had the same thought! Glad it was an illusion!
How many lb do you torque after your oil change? Is it the same as when when you torque the car?
+Joe Sombath drain plug torque specs are in the description which is somehow hard to find. It's the little triangle just below the video on the right hand corner. Click on it and there is a bunch of useful information in there. If you are looking for something else, please reply back. Thanks. Heidi.
I have a 3 liter motor sc. when you torque the oil plug do you use the 1 1/2 torque? How many lb do I torque mine?
1 1/2 inch torque
For an SC, the torque spec is 31Ft-Lbs for both the tank and the steel plate. The higher torque figure is for the 3.2s.
Does that answer your question? Franny
What weight oil do you recommend? I'm about to do my first oil change on my '70 911T.
Hi Anthony, I use Valvoline 20W50 Racing. Royal Purple is another good choice. I like the Valvoline because of its added zinc and it is available everywhere which is great if you are out traveling and need to top off...
Heidi and Franny's Garage awesome, thanks! Love your videos
I checked our previous work orders and they’ve been using 10w40. As I was checking oil level (after proper warmup, oil temp to 210) there was white smoke coming out after I removed the oil cap. Should I replace with a different oil weight or could this be a different issue?
Thanks for any help or direction!
Hmmm... Well, there should be a bit of a vacuum when removing the cap. If you are seeing white-ish smoke that could be blow by from the crankcase breather. Do you see much oil consumption? More than a Qt every 1000mi? Also, drive the car and look for smoke out the tail pipe under acceleration and on trailing throttle, Trailing throttle points to the valves and acceleration the rings. If still inconclusive, perform a compression test and look for any differences between the cylinders. Listen for hissing from the intake (intake valve), exhaust (exhaust valve) and crankcase breather (rings). You might want to try a 20W50 and see if it helps any of the conditions... Good luck! Let me know how it goes. F
Heidi and Franny's Garage thanks so much! I’ll take a closer look at those points and see where it takes me :)

Vielen Dank!
Nice movie, careful with your hair and fingers around the pulleys with the engine running.
+Lars Peter Abildgaard yeah. She needs a haircut. I am already on her case. Heidi
You bet! Will do. Thanks for watching! Franny
Her hair near the belts made me so nervous.
Please don't get your pretty ponytail near those spinning belts!
Thanks Roger! It is a bit of an optical illusion, but I have since cut my hair (twice!). Thanks for the careful reminder! Franny
a garage full of Porsche's, but Harbor Freight tools .. ??
You bring up a good point... The HF stuff isn't all bad and great for seldom use, BUT! the tolerance is not so good so anything that is higher torque I go for a more established (usually Craftsman). You don't really need an expensive plastic hammer though... I need such a wide breadth of tools it would be several thousand from Snap On or equivalent. They are super sweet though! Thanks for your comment! Great point! Franny
