      The aluminum makes it light to carry. The clip although it would work well isn’t quite deep carry. Not a deal breaker but worth noting if that is important to you. Ultimately the blade would probably do well opening packages and I imagine it would be a decent slicer.

    How difficult to push the button? Any risk of it going off in your pocket?

      If you have the blade side pressed against your pocket it won’t be able to deploy. The button itself is depressed to be flush with the rest of the handle if I recall. I do recall it takes a meaningful push of the button to break the lock to allow the blade to deploy. I’m sure accidents could happen but I never thought it would be an issue when I carried it.
