Was the hood swapped at some point the hood isn't correct for a 67 f100 and that motor is a 289 302 small block originally it would've had a 352 fe v8 and the doors are not 67 specific the 67 had a unique one year option for door handles
I'm not sure anyone said this before but you 2 fellas make really good pals. You 2 are a good example of male comradery. You 2 have as much fun as 4 friends hanging out together. I respect that. 🙏🏻
I had a 1969 ford with a 390 gave only $900 it ran really good never had any trouble out of it just had to replace thermostat a few times I sure miss it
Nice job on the revival Boys! Awesome purchase Landon! Definitely worth putting coin into it. I would like to see the transformation process of this truck. As for the name Danger Ranger
Just a little info for you...that truck is a 68 or 69 with a 67 grill...the hood isn't a 67 either...the 302 engine wasn't an option for a 67 and the interior on the 67 had pull knobs for the heat controls...inside door handles are also different on the 67.
It's possible you may be right. It does have a complete custom interior so it is likely nothing is factory for the year it came. Thanks for comment and support
They make all the panel parts for that truck you can get them from LMC Trucks old classic trucks Dennis Carpenter they got about any part for that truck
The ac was probably dealer installed. My grandpa was a mechanic at a ford dealership. And he told me the ac power steering and other accessories back then were dealer installed not installed at the factory.
@@JMRRebuilders My father bought a 1972 F-100 that had a 302. I did have a 1968 Ford Torino that had a 302. A good number of those F-100s did have the 289 engine which was an excellent engine either way. Those Accel spark plugs were often referred to as “Yellow Jackets” here in KY.
More Evidence this IS NOT A 1967 IS THE INSIDE DOOR RELEASE... 1967 HAD A HANDLE YOU PULLED TO OPEN THE DOOR. 1968-72 HAD A HANDLE LIKE THIS TRUCK. ANOTHER HINT IS THE HEATER CONTROLS... 1967 HAD 3 KNOBS THAT YOU PUSHED/PULLED. AND THE KNOBS MATCHED THE REST OF THE KNOBS. 1968-72 HAD 2 SLIDE HANDLES AND A UP/DOWN SWITCH FOR THE BLOWER. WHAT YOU HAVE IS A 1968-69.
Well I can't say I got a clue on the math or waht year this truck is. Love it. Thanks for comment and supprt. Really appreciate the support and comment.

They make all the panel parts for that truck you can get them from LMC Trucks old classic trucks Dennis Carpenter they got about any part for that truck
Heck yeah brother just a matter of what direction landon wants to go. Thanks for comment and support
The ac was probably dealer installed. My grandpa was a mechanic at a ford dealership. And he told me the ac power steering and other accessories back then were dealer installed not installed at the factory.
Good to know. That's sweet. Thanks for comment and support
Put the light bar on it and call er’ “Ranger Rick” or don’t and call it “Ferd-inand”
now thats a good one. Ranger rick be sick for sure. Unfortunately we didnt keep the light bar. Thanks for comment and support.
Let’s Go From KY. My guess on the engine for that year Ford would lean towards a 289.
That is really close. It's actually a 302. Let's go kentucky. Thanks for comment and support

Heck yeah awesome knowledge.
Try removing all the plugs and blocking open the carburetor butterflies for a better compression test.
I wish that was the case but it simple isn't. Thanks for comment and supprt.
Fuel with some oil or transmission fluid would help boost compression
Yeah Def would have helped
Fix it up an paint it an turn the lights on on the top that guys put on the roof
Heck yeah let's go. I love that idea. Thanks for comment and support
The reason why I said call it lucky to bring it back to life

Good one.
If you are talking the date on the tag, 1998, then the time would be 26 years since those tags where issued.

Call it lucky
That's not a bad one. Thanks for comment and support
26 years, my wife and I got married in 1998. 24+2=26, not 36, buddy. 😂😉
