Mine has a similar issue rn. Crank no start. Codes said it was crankshaft and camshaft sensors. Replaced those still no start. Timing is also fine. New ignition coils and spark plugs. My guess is maybe the lower timing cover or ECU. If that isnt it its just some kind of gremlin that doesn't let the car start. Aside from that i guess the engine can just die for weird reasons. But thats more if s teardown to see whats exactly went wrong. Ill keeo replacing a couple of parts in the hopes of getting the car to work. Deoending the car just mightve decided to die for good.

We've got a 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer here. Did oil change, spark plugs and transmission fluid flush and now it wont start. Cranks, almost sounds like its about to fire but just knocks and shakes hella bad. No codes either. We smell fuel but need to verify fuel pressure. Will a Mass Air Flow Sensor prevent these from starting?
I have a 2003 mitsu lancer oz rally and hooked up my radio 2 days ago and now car wont start i change the fuse under the dash and im positive the batter is good please help me understand what to do thanks
Sorry to hear that bro..does the car Cranck? Or is acting like the battery is dead? Also when you hooked the radio did you notice if any of the wire did a short tho ground?
Hey man so what fuse was wrong with your car again? I have a lancer too 1995 model,. I was driving it all good no issues then parked it and it wont start only cranks. First troubeleshoot the spark went out and the mechanic fixed it by dissasembling the distributor, now I have spark and timing is good, also fuel pressure is good on fuel rail replaced with brand new fuel pump and filter, but still cranking only but no start? pls help
Hey I have the same car. My car won’t move in drive or reverse. It’s an automatic trans. The day before It was fine but I could not start it park. This was adjusted and now it starts but won’t move when the selector goes to D or R. Any help and advice is appreciated
Thas really wierd if you ajuste the gear selector it shouldn't affect anything inside do you have any check engine light on or code come up with the scanner
@@brosolution thanks for responding. I actually found the problem. I opened the transmission pan only to realize the gear selector was disconnected from the level. I moved the retainer and reinstalled it. It now works. Thanks for responding though.
Hey man I got a problem with my girlfriends 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer ES automatic transmission has a no start problem I changed the starter and the car ran for a day then the next day no start. All the fuses are good I change the ignition switch put in new battery and change the battery terminals still no luck! HELP
@@brosolution yeah it doesn't do anything I put the key in the ignition all the lights come on but as soon as I go to crank it it does the one click thing. I'm in the process of taking the alternator off right now to get it tested
@@hecks_k20_fa5 the alternato6 would not affect the starter system look on you starter there is a small wire that needs get 12v when you crank your switch try to put power on that wire 12v fron the battery and that will start your car if that work it maybe the starter relay or the signal to the start

@@LC-Diesel I had a massive airflow sensor cause the issue but it also could be timing being off.

I have lancer 2007 & when touch my negative cable & wiggle it little & when I go to start crank it starts back up
I didn't get the question but sound like the ground cable might be loose followed the cable it should be bolt to the engine make sure is tight

I have the same problem but when you put your key in the ignition and turn the key do you hear the fuel pump engaging?
I would check timing belt or spark problems

Check if you have spark at the coils and check if you fuel to the injector
I have a bucking problem on my car like yours
Connect pin no 1 with pin no 4 on obd 2 port with paper clip see if u get check engine light blinking in obd 1 mode code

Try to get the diagram for the starter it will show exactly where is the relay an the color in the wires feed the power to the starter
@@brosolution yeah I accidentally ripped off that 12 volt wire but reconnected it with a butt connector and have power going to the starter
