Nice tank but it looks like u didnt keep up with the regular maintenance since theres an algae outbreak...at least the plants look healthy though. Also youre wasting perfectly good livefood on mosquitofish 😭
They are filtrators I belive that bateria breaks down those. Bateria are eaten by Moina and infusoria and Moina feed on infusoria as well. Moina can consume bacteria and microscopic detritus that result from the breakdown of organic matter. You can use snails to help brake down faster those plant leaves and fish poop.
For me actually smaller containers works better than 15 gallon tanks with Moina. It's easier to have denser green water in it.

I got Molly and plguppy ^_^ I try not to maintenance to much my tanks.
