- A video tutorial on how to unlock, open and start a 2017 - 2024 Chrysler Pacifica with a remote key fob that dead battery or is otherwise not working.
If the remote key fob for your Chrysler Pacifica has a dead battery or is otherwise not working, you will need to use the emergency key located in the bottom of your smart key remote fob. Once the emergency mechanical key is removed from the remote key fob, you will then use it to unlock the driver's door. After unlocking the Chrysler Pacifica driver's door with the mechanical key and opening the door, the alarm will begin to sound. You need to start your Chrysler Pacifica in order to stop the alarm. To start your Chrysler Pacifica with a dead remote key fob, you need to use press the brake pedal and then use the top of your smart key remote fob to press the Stop/Start button. You should replace the battery or repair the remote key fob for your Chrysler Pacifica s as soon as possible.

Just bought a 2020 ltd Pacifica. And the only door that triggers alarm is the passenger side slider when I push the outside button on handle. And I have fob with me so it should sense that. Dealer mechanic could not figure it out and was waiting for Chrysler response. It is ok if I unlock all doors first with key fob. But mine 2019 did not do that. Very annoying. Slider on drivers side btw, does not trigger alarm. I want to disable whole alarm system but dealer is not allowed to.
I have two KeylessGo keys. At one, I can blocking the transmitter by quickly pressing the lock button twice so that it no longer allows the vehicle to be opened using the handles. I can't do this trick with the second key. Who has a tip for me?

Hello! So this is random but would you happen to know what to do if you go to try and start the Pacifica but the brake is too stiff to where you can’t push it down to press the button to start it?

Okay. So what is the point of pushing the start button with the fob if the battery is dead? There is no connection?
there is a cheap reader near the start button that can read the chip inside of the key fob, if the key fob is held close enough - even if the key fob has no power

You can't prevent the alarm from going off - you can only turn it off as shown in the video.
How do I deactivate the alarm permanently?
I don't believe you can - its automatically armed when the vehicle is locked with the fob

I believe this should still work
Mine got wet and this method did not work. This is the worst design I have ever seen on a car. If you use a emergency key to open the door the damn alarm should not go off.
I had a rental and got the key fob wet. It would never start for me and I couldn't get the alarm off. Why in the world would the alarm go off if I use emergency key to open the door? It has to be the worst design ever. My family and I were stuck in a remote beach with an elderly grandmother Without Shelter. I would never buy a Chrysler after this. What's really weird is that my car's alarm started trigger other alarms next to mine that were Chryslers. This made me the most hated person on the beach.
