Miss Annie! I'm not kidding when I say I use a lot of your recipes for potlucks!! I love it when you post recipes❤ because I know I'm going to get compliments on my cooking! I also love your HOPE sweatshirt. Your videos are good for the soul AND the belly 😊 please keep rolling them out.
I made this last night for dinner, delicious and filling, I let my frozen veggies thaw out before I assembled it, thanks for sharing this recipe with us
Great recipe! Thank you so much for sharing. Very good comfort food. I did put my own twist on it by cutting back on the peas and carrots (which I love) and substituted with a little corn and smoked chicken from the freezer. Since I also love potatoes, I added about 1/4 bag of the seasoned french fries and one stalk of finely chopped celery. Kind of a freezer/fridge clean out I guess. I baked a can of Grand biscuits, (nice and crispy) cut them open and put a scoop of this delightful recipe on top. So good. I’m stuffed. Keep the great recipes coming…
TOP TIP: If you want to make this dish EVEN BETTER, mix up a packet of Sage & Onion Stuffing and spread that on top of the chicken before adding the veggies and other ingredients. It's SPECTACULAR, let me tell you!!!
This looks like a shortcut version of Ina Garten’s (The Barefoot Contessa) recipe for Chicken Stew with Biscuits, as well as the Bisquick version and the quick version in many Southern church cookbooks. Delicious!
Almost like the old Bisquick chicken pot pie recipe they had on the back of the box in the 80s. But amped up a bit more. 😀
That looks so delicious!!
Thanks Miss Annie, my husband said that sounds great ! So happy you shared it!
I went to the store and got the ingredients to make this for dinner tomorrow. It looks great. I’m hoping it taste great.
