Just did this 30 minutes ago, right now I’m about to install a fresh rebuilt 68 carter made Rochester to replace the garbage Chinese one installed by the last douche I let have my car. If I need it done, I learn it and then do it myself. The cleanliness of your beautiful 76 and great attention to detail in making a proper video made it much easier my friend. Thankyou.

Thanks, and glad to hear you found the video helpful. Over the years, I’ve had to learn how to repair my own cars since it’s almost impossible to find qualified mechanics who know how to properly work on classic vehicles, especially Corvettes.
Besides, it’s pretty satisfying to be able to do it yourself and know it was done right. 😊👍🏻

That hose is connected to the vacuum advance canister on the distributor. 😊👍🏻

That was rude of Ford to air a radio commercial while you were working your Chevrolet.

Is that teflon tape on the fuel line?
I was told that's a no no....possible seepage into fuel system.

There’s no tape or sealer on the fuel line. Maybe some sealer on the fuel filter fitting threads. I removed the carb to rebuild it and I agree; Teflon tape is not fuel resistant 😊👍🏻

      Yes, the threads.
      Nice clean motor!
      Thanks for the video!
