It's all relative, isn't it? We've taken tours that take 2 to 3 hours to reach. Anyway we said 'make a day trip to Alberrobello', hence be prepared to spend a day to get there and back.
@@beforeyougotravel I'll spend a few days in Bari and will take those day trips since they are nearby. And then head to Lecce and stay there for a longer period and do day trips from there. I had planned to see Alberrobello and Matera previously to watching your video. I wanted to see what there was to do in Bari. Thanks nonetheless. Ciao
Bari is on the Adriatic, not the Mediterranean... 😮. Maybe technically it is part of the Med., but in my 57 years, never has anyone in Italia or elsewhere considered the Adriatic coast of Italy part of the Med.
First off, salty air of the Mediterranean? Bari is on the Adriatic. Street food? Those are authentic restaurants serving their food on terraces. Have I ever wondered how it would feel to walk along narrow streets? No. That's not really a preoccupation for a lot of people.
1. The adriatic sea is part of the mediterrean sea. 2.Yes, street food is available anywhere, like panzerotti and focaccia. 3. Please don't come, we don't want you to wander in our narrow streets.
@@Fra42below 1. If it's called the Adriatic it's the Adriatic and not the Mediterranean. I don't call the Caribbean Sea the Atlantic Ocean. 2. So people actually pull up carts on the street and start making Panzerotti, etc. and sell it? 3. And okay, I won't come. People are obviously not very friendly there. Buona giornata.
@@123benny4 the mediterrean sea is made of a lot of other seas. If you don't know geography at least open Wikipedia and have a look. We have the ionian sea, the adriatic sea, the Aegean sea, the Tyrrhenian sea, and the channel of Sicily. They all form the totality of the mediterrean sea, that spreads from Gibraltar to Lebanon. You're welcome.

Alberrobello is 2 hours from Bari with train, 1 hour with car. It's not a short distance, more than 50kms.

Yeah, things to do in Bari but they tell us to go to Alberrobello and Matera. I wanted to know what to do in Bari.
