The food is natural and simple, with not a lot of spices. I think they were a bit harsh on their critique on the food. I love calamari and the octopus sandwiches are worth the try. A lot of the touristy destinations only warrant a couple hours to a day. Bari is a bigger city and is more like Naples, bustling and loud. They left out Lecce.
Everything is so beautiful there!
