you cant get things sounding right in the low end on cheap monitors like hs and krk and anything cheap
cheap monitors have a slow transient response you need monitors with a fast transient response for trap or drum&bass production

i have a high ceiling and use foam it does the job
thing such has high hats sound alot more crisp and things sound alot more detailed
in the high mids when you treat the ceiling your be shocked at the difference when you treat the ceiling

Rockwool in Europe is absolutely safe. you also never put it in absorbers without wrapping it in thin plastic foil before. Doesn't affect tone, makes installation dirtfree and doesn't start to rain down on you if you have overhead absorbers.

love the new studio. the only thing that you might wanna improve is the way your camera is set up with the background. the way that wall is shaped it makes your eyes expect the background to be symetrical but in fact it's a little off (not properly centered and also not really leveled on the horizontaly) . you are probably aware of this already but if not, I just wanted to bring it across. keep up the good work man!!

I know you use a Macbook when in the studio, could you share its spec please. I'm gonna be replacing my laptop and was thinking the macbook because of battery life, being unable to upgrade apple devices I don't want to spend and be stuck with something that cannot preform

Yeah, nice place! I like the black theme with cream carpet! Noticed you haven't rotated the tweeters on your A8H's though. I really recommend doing that if you are still keeping the monitors upright? Thnx for a great video!
