In this video I show 2 of my favorite entries to the single leg x guard from the De La Riva Guard.
One of the entries is a little bit more basic while the others is a little bit advanced.

Just started playing with this. I LOVE to threaten the hook sweep from de la riva and it seems like a good way to shorten that transition by having your foot in front of their hip if doing the second method. Sort of depends on reaction- if the hook sweep isnt there, just keep going for the single leg X OR go back de la riva.
