What I don't like is that the companions react the same way to the Institute being destroyed no matter who does it - be it the Railroad, Minutemen or the Brotherhood. I would have liked for Nick to express some regret that the Commonwealth might not be safe for him much longer if the Brotherhood gets anymore zealous or a little concern from Preston about whether the Minutemen and the Brotherhood will get along. So there are really only two endings as far as your companions are concerned: Institute or no Institute
+Venatio I don’t see why Nick would say that anyone is in danger. Every settlement hates ghouls and Goodneighbor, but the BoS aren’t attacking Goodneighbor or regular ghouls, and they aren’t trying to annex territory like the NCR (as evidenced by their “good will” effort in Diamond City).

I chose the Brotherhood of Steel ending because the Order's goals of protecting people from high technology is the right view to me. I chose Piper as my companion because she's sexy as fuck and I like her attitude and point of view of the Institute.

Bobert91 They are women and children in the Institute as well. Also the children on the Prydwen are squires meaning that they are of historical fighting age making them combatants and acceptable casualties.

Lucas Foley I didn't notice any change in his dialogue, even after maximizing my relationship level with him. The only way to reach that maximum relationship level is by completing Blind Betrayal.

I mean hell, they don’t even try and destroy good neighbor despite its ghoul population. That’s the main reason why I don’t side with them. The institute is just a bunch of old people putting shock collars in their slaves then brainwashing them into servitude. What good can synths do for the commonwealth anyway, “restore order and rebuild” b*tch the people of the commonwealth can rebuild themselves. The institute is just an organization hell bent on control, replacing people in positions of power with synths. That’s why synths were made, so the institute can better control the commonwealth. The BOS doesn’t want to control the commonwealth, their main goal is retrieving lost tech and destroying feral ghouls, mutants, and synths. This goal directly helps the commonwealth since while synths do have free will, majority of them are reduced as puppets of an organization that was destroyed. That’s why I prefer a BOS-minutemen ending.
Tbh I think the institute is a better way to end Even if many lives are lost and your companions generally dislike it. But as the director of the company you can lead the institute into a greater and brighter future and use its extensive tech to help the commonwealth

Your power is limited, at least at first, but it guaranteed that you have enough power to stop the abductions, and contribute at least some towards the Commonwealth. You could create a mutually symbiotic relationship. At the very least, synths could become neutral to humanity, rather than hostile. Though I doubt it would be hard to get synths deployed to increase security in the settlements and cities.
The only thing I like about strong is that he could care less which faction you choose to ally with or destroy. I hate having to risk loosing one of my favorite companions because I want to see about a certain faction, they just hate everything about it
on my main save i sided with the brotherhood, and since i was bored and had nothing else to do, i killed literally everyone in the prydwen and took all their weapons and armor and stashed it in my workshop

The brotherhood of steel died with Sarah Lyons and when I play fallout 4 I kill any and all Outcast Soliders I come in contact with because out of all the factions I've ever fought against It's the Outcasts I hate the most and It's the Outcasts I enjoy killing the most
Makes me mad that they are Happy that the institute is gone but hate that when you destroy the Prydwen they are mad at us *Bethesda* showed too much favoritism to the BØS because they jave been around longer in the Fallout Franchise instead of trying to add a new faction for people to enjoy but instead they gave the bortherhood questline so many rewards for the player like laser rifles and new sets of power armors while the institute can only offer the player nothing but the thought of fixing the common wealth no speciality 😤

The Institute kidnapped people, did brutal experiments on them, then took their memories, organs ect. And make them into Synths which they introduced to the above world in which they would await instructions and any Synths that decided they didn't want to do it anymore were hunted down and either executed or brought in to be rewritten. They believed the ground level was doomed to failure and not worth their time

To be honest, the Brotherhood did trigger the institute to fight, and as they say, start a war to prevent a war, crazy idea by the Brotherhood.

I finished with the BOS ending yesterday and I only have Preston’s reaction so far

Is it just me or should the brotherhood have had a quest to kill off your non human companions. It never sat right maxson just took the shit the new recruit and later paladin had in keeping non human companions

The brotherhood of steel died with Sarah Lyons and when I play fallout 4 I kill any and all Outcast Soliders I come in contact with because out of all the factions I've ever fought against It's the Outcasts I hate the most and It's the Outcasts I enjoy killing the most

Makes me mad that they are Happy that the institute is gone but hate that when you destroy the Prydwen they are mad at us *Bethesda* showed too much favoritism to the BØS because they jave been around longer in the Fallout Franchise instead of trying to add a new faction for people to enjoy but instead they gave the bortherhood questline so many rewards for the player like laser rifles and new sets of power armors while the institute can only offer the player nothing but the thought of fixing the common wealth no speciality 😤

am I the only one who sees how must of the companions are naive Mormons. the institute was trying to better the world! but noo let's all be overjoyed to be ruled over by a group of navis with a hard on for prewar tech and do everything first for themselves. the bos is good for keeping the status quo but the institute really is the best hope for a actual future. want to make a omelette you got to crack some eggs
The Institute kidnapped people, did brutal experiments on them, then took their memories, organs ect. And make them into Synths which they introduced to the above world in which they would await instructions and any Synths that decided they didn't want to do it anymore were hunted down and either executed or brought in to be rewritten. They believed the ground level was doomed to failure and not worth their time
