Ah yes, a Brotherhood soldier wearing Enclave armor. I'm surprised that no one reacted negatively to something that reminded them of their former enemy.
@@rengoober Technically the cat never dies. (The cat's located in an interior cell, destroying the prydwyn simply deletes the area transition from the map.) Yep, it works, and they're hostile lol. Nah man, I save that man every time I can. Synth or not, he’s still Paladin Dance. He doesn’t even fight you when you attack him either, he’s willing to still follow orders, even if those orders call for his immediate death. He’s still a BOS soldier through and through.
When doing Out of the Fire, I grabbed the heavy incinerator from the crucible in Saugus Ironworks. Immediately after I was doing a Raider Troubles for Nordhagen Beach, targeting East City Downs. So there no shit, there I was in Stealth Boy, and dropping an arty grenade into the race track when the Enclave troopers show up. Since I was still invisible, the raiders were the ones to get into a gun fight with the Enclave soldiers. I watched as the shells dropped on their heads. The Hellfire trooper made it out, and Codsworth and I finished him/her off. And that kids is how I got my own X-01 Hellfire power armor and automatic plasma rifle before becoming a full fledged BoS paladin.
The first time this happened to me I felt bad. I joined the Brotherhood of Steel because my resources ran out from helping the Minutemen and I stayed with Danse doing side quests my entire playthrough. By the time I decided to continue with the main story I had already formed a bond of camaraderie with Danse and when it was my turn to make this difficult decision I would obviously disobey Maxson but he ended up executing it and I got really bad and almost killed him like Anakin killed Windu. But I didn't have the courage. Now I loaded up the game and gave Danse an X02 MK VI from the Enclave. You will always be the best companion Danse.
In this mission, a bug had occurred when I went to do it, and then when I killed the robots, I found danse already dead (I used a pistol to kill the robots) and I tried to reload a save but he was already dead when in the save I had made
Theres another bug with the next gen version because of the pyro community quest they added, maxon will start fighting them if you do this quest before killing them
To anyone watching this video, spare Danse inside, when you walk out Maxson is there, convince maxson that danse should live. It is possible to spare danse by convincing maxson, if you struggle with the speech checks, use your brain and make a quick save before you do the check, then reload the save if you fail.
You know the only part I hate about killing Danse is even if you refuse and he dies I believe Scribe Haylen still blames you and gets mad.
