Unless you have a public defender who is very overwhelmed and only has the capacity to process you through the system and couldn't possibly have the time to mount anything that would resemble a "defense" for their client.

What do you do when your attorney refuses to introduce exoneration evidence and impeachment evidence ?

I wonder how often attorneys go along to get along with Prosecutors and Judges. I have seen it myself. They don’t even attempt impeachment of a “victim.” They won’t pursue a 4th Amendment violation by police. Do they need to go along to get along. I think it’s important for the client to know the law and the system so that they can push to have their case actually presented.

They all "work" for the court. Call it something else, it isnt the TRUTH. No contact v restraining orders, Dropping the case v dismissing the case, Police hiding evidence, bogus charges. If Jesus Christ couldnt get a fair trial, what makes you think you will get one??

All the pressure should be on the prosecutor. They had better not be thinking about anyones case as "just another file." Prosecutors are afforded many legal protections and benefits not affirded to regular citizens. Their job is to take people's freedom and rights away. Presssure is appropriate.
