and then she was revealed to just have been teleported keeping tingyun as the only playable character to have possibly likely but not certainly to have died (why couldn’t they confirm tingyuns death if she truly is dead)

right?! I watched the interview where they completely avoid the question, it seems like they're afraid people won't want to play a dead character, which is a bit ridiculous since she's very much suggested dead in the story. I have a bit of a problem with how they handled her character, on the one hand if she died it has very little emotional effect on us because we never knew her when she was really her, but if she was in fact alive somewhere the whole funeral scene and sadness of the characters who knew her would have been unnecessary scenes to the story.

@@lowkie78 I have also noticed how tingyun never gets mentioned in any side quests or dialogue except in march 7th’s side quest but it doesn’t directly mention her being dead, I believe that this is a clue to her being alive because if the real tingyun returns then the side quests need to not mention her being dead because you can complete the quests after she returns or they just didn’t care about tingyun and decided to sweep her entire existance under the rug.

@@larsthememelord3383 yes to see, I don't know how her return would be organized if she were ever alive, in any case for the moment she has had very little importance in the plot so not so sure that she will come back unless they prepare new quests with her where she has much more importance than now
