I've remastered and enhanced Pohatu vs the Nui-Jaga from the Bionicle MNOG soundtrack. The original was one of the few from the games that wasn't really compressed much, so I've remastered the track as well as added some subtle high end percussion loops for crispness, and replaced a couple of the instrument loops with their high quality version counterparts I was able to track down, so this is not so much a remake, rather an enhancement.
Anyone is free to use these in their games or projects/media!

This probably my favourite track in the entire OST! Those strings and flutes tied with that Beat!
It took me until 10 seconds from the end of the video to notice the infected kohlii ball had a little animation.

its actually mostly original samples ;P most of the work I did was remastering and adding extra textures for crispness

One of the best tracks in the game. I remember encountering this challenge for the first time and being completely stumped at what to do - I kept kicking the ball and the Nui-Jaga kept belting it with its stinger. Took me a full day to realize "Oh wait, I'm supposed to click and hold, not just spam click."
Only in a story like Bionicle can a soccer/football player be a superhero and kick ass. Pohatu was the best.

It's been too long since I played the MNOG, so when I first saw the thumbnail, my thought was: "I do remember this fight was violently hype, but I'm not sure why. I guess I do really like Pohatu?". And then I clicked on the video, and my withered neural pathways instantly reconnected. God what a fucking bop.

With the MNOG improvement mods in development, I wonder if modders will learn how to replace sound files in the game. If graphics are being cleaned up, it makes sense to add remastered audio as well

Sweet! I'm really looking forward to it. There are some really killer tracks in there. Tales of the Tohunga also has some good ones in there as well. Some of them honestly sound as if they were pulled right from MNOG, especially the first track.

Honestly, whenever I listen to my personal favorite *_"Combat Tracks"_* - I want to imagine that the song should be structured to be in sync with the fight - kinda like those MGR music sync videos I've watched before.
There's just something too damn uncanny about how satisfactory and memorable it makes it all! When a video game is designed to make the music dynamically shift to your own gameplay - like Devil May Cry 5, it gets you so damn pumped even in the most mundane situations for some reason.
Hell, I'd totally want to record and loop the startup sequence prior to the guy who toots away with a flute (0:00 - 0:13 basically) solely for the sake of its consistency in, say, a game where I had to stay on the move, lest I risk being caught off guard by the enemy, like Doom Eternal or the Resident Evil games!
I love listening to my own music selections when gaming, and content creators like you are exactly why.

Where did you find the samples used? I'm trying to track down the ones they used for Spybotics and I'm fairly certain they used the same library for both.
