  • Lot of nostalgia in making this one - funny how some point-and-click Flash game from years ago can have such an impact. I know it's a short loop and not particularly complex, but I love how ambient the original is and how it captures the mysticism of the early years of Bionicle (for a story made for a bunch of plastic robots, the lore is surprisingly deep).
Original by Justin Luchter of Templar Studios - thanks for your work!

I like to imagine this is what would play if lego minifigures stumble across ancient ruins of the Bionicle

I can just imagine the retro lego spaceman coming across the wreckage of a Toa from mallenia ago.

This wasn't a point and click game, it was a point and click experience.

With the Metroid remixes, you got my curiosity. With the BIONICLE remixes, you got my attention.

I sort’ve had it once. I was at a mall, in this sort’ve daycare area. The floor looked like the painted scenery of a train table I had when I was a kid. There were a lot of other kids running around, but what caught my attention was a huge pile of Kanohi masks tucked into a corner. All noble metru masks, but as soon as I picked up an orange Rau, I looked out of the corner of my eye and saw a Lego store out of a window. Thinking that Bionicle was back on the shelves after seeing mask pile, i excitedly scrambled to find the door to the daycare to check for myself. But before I could find it, my phone alarm rang and woke me up for my classes for the day. I was pissed.

I often find myself wondering at franchises that my friends discuss, because during my childhood I was laser-focused on Bionicle and its story. That and the Gamecube/Wii Metroid games are the single most nostalgic stories from my childhood, and the fact that you pander to my niche interests with such wonderful music touches me every time you come out with something new.
It's criminal that your channel isn't more popular. Orchestral music is easy to dismiss because it's a bit of a generic genre on youtube-add some strings and a soaring chorus, and you're done, most think. You put so much more effort and heart into your compositions and it keeps me coming back every time. Please keep doing what you do, because you have the gift and the hard-earned skill that more people need to hear.

Thank you so much for the kind words! I know I might get more views if I were to make music based on more popular series, but the passion just isn't there if I'm pandering like that. I'm definitely glad that you recognize that I try to do more than slapping on strings and chorus like you said.

Early Bioniclr had that quality and mystery going on that I just love. MNOG is the best thing from this franchise. Thank you for this music.
