This is my new favorite video from you, and I know I’ve said that more than once. The desert, the saguaro cactus, and your relentless climb up that very steep and dangerous trail. Glad you were able to save your cheese burger. Cheers

Picacho Peak is a neat place. There is some history there no less. The only Civil War battle in AZ happened near there at Picacho Pass. Also the shallow cave has holes that ancient people used for grinding seeds and such into flours.

Hello Traveling Robert😊😊🎵🎵🎸🎸, 1st of all I had a wonderful road trip to Miami and the Keys. I had hoped that i would cross paths but unfortunately didn't. What an incredible hike up that mountain and those chains...Wow, what an incredible view. I was very worried that you only had one bottle of water left but you made it back. The views absolutely SPECTACULAR!! I'm looking forward to the next video as you head toward Salt River Canyon and Sho Low...i have been to both of those places and it's SPECTACULAR!! I can't wait to see that footage. Great video Robert👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍!!

Robert, thank you for this video. Picacho Peak became part of my family’s New Year’s 2023 RV trip going from SoCal to Mew Mexico. It was a great campground and we’ll definitely return. I never would’ve discovered this place without your video. Thanks again.

    Good job Robert.
Lived in Tucson for 40+ years and never hiked up Picacho Peak. Did NOT realize it was such a strenuous hike.
Always knew I was getting close to my hometown when passing the Peak.

You had me at the grill marks on the burgers, bread, and melted cheese!🍔🥓🥰 Absolutely mouth-watering! You've started the morning off right before the hike!🥓🍳☕Going up Picacho Peak started off fairly smooth, so it seems, and then, it must have been intense the more you climbed up, I bet! All of the Cacti are beautiful, and the rock formations are beautiful, but they must have been challenging!😏Yay!🎉You've made it to the top🌄-that's very impressive( and so are the views looking down and far away)! And a mailbox📫 should be at every mountain for strenuous climbing/hiking, I think! What an awesome way to reward yourself in the end after making it down!🥩🌵🌄Beautiful Sunset!

As a full time rv'er I arrived in Arizona 4 years ago and never left it. Found 10 acres in the high desert with a well, electric and septic system all for $20,000.00. Put a Single Wide on it and have been a happy camper since then. But regret selling my rv now. Love the views I have of the mountains.

That’s a really good deal for all the amenities already there! We live in Catalina but in just ten years it’s so populated that I would like to get further out. They’re building on all of the desert land where the wildlife reside. I’d love to find some acreage out further. I don’t need a stick built house. We have a beautiful view of the Catalinas and I would miss that, but I hate being surrounded by people.

BENDICIONES...DTC

Always take more water than you think you will need when hiking Arizona, we don’t sweat, it’s too dry 😎 but we still lose fluids. : )
