Next time you’re in Tucson, make sure you stop at Eegees. It’s a Tucson staple - delicious fresh fruit ices in different flavors. Also pretty decent subs and ranch fries.
I lived in Tucson for nearly 30 years, and even spent a few years on Mt. Lemmon before the Aspen fire swept it away. My heart is in Tucson, but my career is in Sioux Falls.
I dearly loved this video. I love the beautiful state of Arizona. All your traveling video's show me places that I know I will never get to witness myself in real life. Thanks so much all you have done and do. I'm so thankful for you being able to do this and share it with people like me. I'm so happy I've discovered your channel. You are SUPPER!

Uploaded a couple days ago and I'm thinking, "What could you be doing out in this heat?!" Lucky you shot in winter when Southern AZ is tolerable!! We're currently in a heatwave with temps around 110f each day. Great video!
Robert, leave your hiking shoes in the car! Every episode you say, I did not bring my hiking shoes! I love the choice of music you use in the background, really helps set the mood.
You showcased my Tucson beautifully. If you want a great view of the city, come down Mt. Lemmon at night, the valley is filled with stars! My personal favorite section of Sahuaro National Monument is the East side. The stands of saguaros are much thicker and lush. You can get to Colossal Cave that way, too. Shouldn't be missed.
Robert, I've been watching many of your travel videos after finding you a month ago. As i was looking for more road trip in the state of Nevada I noticed that yours outrank any available on UA-cam both in calm informative narration and in length. I love that your videos are no less than 30 minutes and to me the best are an hour to 2 hours... my favorite. Thank you for your efforts to make them enjoyable to us 😊😊😊😊
I went to saguaro national park in 2020. Old Tucson was closed then. I went to signal hill as well. I really enjoyed the park. I love the Saguaro cactus. To me they are majestic!
Hi love your videos so much.spent a summer in Arizona a few years back.thanks for your videos you do a fantastic job. Lots of love from Dublin ireland xx🥰

We're really hoping that Old Tucson will open back up again but it's not looking promising. We get asked all the time about the future of it but right now Pima County has the park in their hands so.... 🤷♀️ Real shame as it was a lot of fun. VERY much a theme park but well done. We made videos on both Old Tucson and the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum if you're curious on what you missed out on.
"That coyote is really a crazy clown, When will he learn that he never can mow him down? Poor little Road Runner never bothers anyone, Just runnin' down the road's his idea of having fun." Great video as always
Im glad you've taken the time to post this awesome video! I live about 20 minutes from saguaro national park and i head there 24/7 haha. It even snowed here in the middle of march down in the valley which was insane. Cant wait to see your return video when hopefully everything has resumed to normal!

Hello Traveling Robert😊😊🎸🎸🎵🎵! I have never been to Tucson so it was great to follow along, especially the ride up to MT Lemmon. Interesting the way that coyote was following you. I have been in Miami for 3 days and leaving tomorrow. Key West was great too even though I was dodging downpours. Great video Robert👍👍👍👍👍👍.
That's my new home! Tucson Arizona! I just moved down here from Illinois, and love it! Been through many of them places you just mentioned . The only thing I have to get used to is the real hot weather!👌😎👍
Yea, Robert…I’ve had El Guerrero Canello’s Sonoran Dogs… there’s quite a few things on that dog! Bacon-wrapped hot dog, jalapeños and jalapenos sauce, mayo, mustard, raw AND grilled onions, all on a special bun. This owner/developer never used Indian Fry Bread on these dogs, to the best of my knowledge. Unfortunately Indian Fry Bread tacos were at a place called Manna’s from Heaven (?) which closed a few years ago in Tucson. Now THAT was a very special Indian Fry Bread taco. Thank you for this wonderful video, Robert! We visit Tucson each hear for the winter for the gem shows. Would love go have a winter home there. Missed it here in 2021, due to Covid 🤬.There are many fun and interesting places to visit and things to do in Tucson…love the area, especially the Oro Valley, at the northern edge of Tucson. Stay safe!
Have really been craving a trip to the Tucson area....thanks for making that possible, via video! Wondering if you've ever visited Bisbee, just south of Tucson. If not, I hope you'll visit next time! It's an old mining town, now more artsy, with great food, fun tours (ghost/historical and mine), and beautiful architecture. There is a fun place called The Shady Dell where you can rent a vintage RV to sleep in for the night (not that you would need that, but your viewers might be interested). There's a 50s type diner attached. For food I'd recommend trying the chili at the Old Bisbee Brewery and the Sweet Corn Tamales at Santiagos with Sopapillas for dessert. My ancestors settled there and worked in the mines after moving north from Sonora, Mexico. It's a pretty special place! Thanks for the trip!

I have taken a few of those military planes out there to the bone yard during my military career, all C-130's.

Great episode. Tucson looks like a pretty cool town, and so close to great skiing too.
The ski runs are open for only a few weeks each year, and some years they don't get enough snow to open at all.
Yes, the ski runs aren't open long, but just a few hours away in Flagstaff, you have great skiing!
