The look on Usman's face when he got that young ladies number is telling. At no point in time has he ever looked at Kimberly that way! The fact that he doesn't light up and want to embrace her after being apart for so long, should be all that Kimberly needs to see to part ways.

I don't think she's understanding how much this is gonna hurt her. And the other girl isn't ugly either and that's one of Kim's fears too. It's like she's watching him with his soul mate and she wishes that was her. But if she doesn't leave him she's gonna be in pain all the time it doesn't seem like it's worth it and she puts so much into someone who wouldn't even do half of the things she does for him.

Kim is living proof, and a reminder to us all that healing is crucial in our life. Our traumas. Loneliness ,and sheer desperation will have us making a fool out of ourselves, and being blind to red flags, like she clearly is ,if we don't heal. You are right. Kim will be miserable in a polygamous marriage. Also, because of her insecurities, she will end up pushing him away. As you said, she has no control over who he loves the most. She proposed to try to manipulate him. That's the wrong reason to propose. Usman accepted her proposal, but that didn't guarantee her being first wife. TLC knows how to dramaticly increase the darkness of her racoon eyes in filming and they do it every chance they get. Remember the Seinfield episode of the lady that was pretty in one lighting and scary in the other? That is what TLC is doing, keeping her in the scary lighting most of the time.
Usman is not the catch that he thinks he is. Take away this show and he'd fade off into oblivion. I'm Kim's age and am just embarrassed for her to be honest. My son is 23 years old and the look on his face with disappointment, if I were in a situation like Kimberly, would be unbearable. It's called "self-worth" and she has none of it, unfortunately.
