@chevon1920 well they end up together in the time dilated episode. They both relate to each other and tho they are different characters, they seem to fill up eachother's hole.
They kind of did. Their feelings for each other didn't just suddenly develop while they were in the time loop, they've been building up since they met. Them getting together is the inevitable conclusion. That's the way I interpreted the final episode and Teal'c reaction when Vala was asked who she ended up with.

Well let's see. At the start of the series his "call to adventure" is his wife is kidnapped. One of his new friends kills her later to save his life. When he meets Vala she is trying to steal the ship he is on. They physically fight a couple of times. When she joins the cast as a regular, she is constantly flirting with him (among others) and he's annoyed because he knows she is just messing with him. He goes on rant exactly how he feels about her in the series finale (that clip is probably on this channel somewhere).
There is no way going to a restaurant that fancy is just an outing with a co worker no matter how much Daniel keeps saying it is lol.
She is so adorable. Intelligent, playful, and gorgeous. I love her little grrrr when he orders the martini.

After they reverse time Vala says life is too short, same line she said during the time stop, so it hints they get together eventually
