I wonder whether time was reverted for the Ori ship as well. So Ive been thinking, why dont they use the time in the time dilation bubble to get the shields back online, deactivate the bubble, let the ori beam be absorbed by the shield and then they can fly away and regroup before fighting again?.......
Because... They would need to take the asgard tech offline to do it. The moment they do that, the bubble is burst, they go boom. It was explained fully.
Remember the alteran control chair/defense platform? Also the ascended ancient protecting the place... I believe in any event that Earth/Altera Prime would not have fallen, even without the Ori. Ra leaving Earth during ancient Egypt was not a coincidence.
Even if he wanted too, Daniel never knew how to ascend by himself. Each time it was Oma helping him through the process. Unless he learnt some secrets through the Asgard data, or the other ascended beings reward him for handling the Ori. The next time Daniel dies will be permeant
They could have figured out which parts of the ship would be affected by the incoming blast and disassembled just enough of the ship so it missed. They had the time to do so. Then they could get out of Dodge with the Asgard's tech slick as can be.
They had some Star Trek style matter replicator. They would presumably have to feed it some sort of raw matter, though, and lasting "50 to 60 years" does seem difficult, even if you can effectively eat the furniture.
Because "Good things come to those who wait". He could have changed future events by saying them what happened on the ship. Basically butterfly effect. Daniel and Vala might never be together if he tells them about the alternate timeline. People should see what the future holds for them on their own. Daniel and Vala have to become a couple (fall in love) that way and not because Teal'c tells them about it (and therefore can ruin the whole thing).
Think marvel movie logic, except him existing in the past erases that past teal'c but there is now a timeline where that happens and one where that doesn't.
Tauri ships and where to find them: BC 303: Prometheus: destroyed above Tegalus by Ori satellite, prior duties: defense of earth, milky way. BC 304s: USS Daedalus: responsible for *Pegasus* and Pegasus Earth supply line USS Odysse: responsible for *milky way* galaxy RFS Korolev: *destroyed* at the battle of the supergate by Ori beam weapons with only 8 survivors USS Apollo: stationed on *Earth* while helping out in *Pegasus* when needed Sun Tzu: badly damaged in fight against superhive, *abandoned* and currently stranded between Pegasus and the milky way, may be beyond repair USS George Hammond: *Pegasus* , *milky way* *Ikarus base* (destroyed), formerly USS Phoenix (*destroyed* in an *alternate timeline* during suicide run against Tods fleet by Carter after having been assigned to Pegasus)
An awful episode. I hate it so much :D Nothing in it works. 1. You cannot do a nostalgic episode about the whole team being together forever, without the original characters.. I mean I actually like Vala, Mitchell and Landry, but each of them was one of the main characters for only two season, Vala only one, they don't represent 10 seasons of SG1 so the nostalgia does not work. 2. It's extremely depressing: I mean can you actually imagine those people being trapped for a lifetime? Take Mitchell for example, a young guy, handsome, full of life, trapped with his boss forever, with no women, life wasted, he would go insane. Daniel has got Vala so they probably cuddle at nights and are kinda happy but Mitchell? - alone in his quarter with no one to hug or kiss for fifty freaking years that's a terrifying idea :D They made it look fun coz it was a 50 min. episode but 50 years c'mon. :D 3. It's completely different from the rest of the show, for example that song "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" it's the first time and last time we heard a full, regular song on the show, the last episode should pay homage to the whole series but this episode seems to be from a different show not SG1. 4. We don't meet any important recurring characters like Jack, Walter, Siler, Bra'tac etc. 5. it's just boring :D 5. last BUT NOT LEAST - apart from the last scene - THEY DO NOT EVEN USE THE FREAKING STARGATE IN THIS BULLSHIT. Can you imagine a last episode of any STAR TREK show that wouldn't feature the corresponding star ship or station. Like a last episode of TNG without the Enterprise D? :D and I could probably continue... I love SG-1 but I will probably never re-watch this episode :D
After two final cringe seasons, this always felt weird. To be perfectly honest, after they had to bring back Daniel it slowly but surely went downhill.
I would have liked for Teal'c to have before the end to have related to the team how much his life had changed since helping them escape from Apophis and how they have become his family and that now he couldn't see his life without SG1

Indeed.
Didn't we see Ktesh in Stargate Origins?
So Ive been thinking, why dont they use the time in the time dilation bubble to get the shields back online, deactivate the bubble, let the ori beam be absorbed by the shield and then they can fly away and regroup before fighting again?.......
good thinking boy , but its all up to director and screenwriter …..
Because... They would need to take the asgard tech offline to do it. The moment they do that, the bubble is burst, they go boom. It was explained fully.
since the ori already know where earth is why dint they just send a fleet there to attack the oddesey, or earth
Remember the alteran control chair/defense platform? Also the ascended ancient protecting the place... I believe in any event that Earth/Altera Prime would not have fallen, even without the Ori. Ra leaving Earth during ancient Egypt was not a coincidence.
Why didn't Daniel just teach the rest of them to ascend?
Even if he wanted too, Daniel never knew how to ascend by himself. Each time it was Oma helping him through the process. Unless he learnt some secrets through the Asgard data, or the other ascended beings reward him for handling the Ori. The next time Daniel dies will be permeant

Johnny 5: no dissemble!
Time: moves backwards ship gets reassembled
Tilc shows up to change the course of time problem solved yet again!
RIP SG1
The meek shall inherit the Earth.
They could have figured out which parts of the ship would be affected by the incoming blast and disassembled just enough of the ship so it missed. They had the time to do so. Then they could get out of Dodge with the Asgard's tech slick as can be.
Right, just start disassembling the submarine while deep underwater, what could go wrong?...
@@DrakeOola Build bulkheads first...then take off the threatened parts of the ship.
Saddest episode
How would they hae survived that long? wouldnt they have ran out of food and water
They had some Star Trek style matter replicator. They would presumably have to feed it some sort of raw matter, though, and lasting "50 to 60 years" does seem difficult, even if you can effectively eat the furniture.
@@JBRewind Poop matters.

INDEED 💪❤️💪
The very young do not always do what they are told
I don't get why he can't tell them. Vala is right. It's not a time paradox if he tells them.
Because "Good things come to those who wait". He could have changed future events by saying them what happened on the ship. Basically butterfly effect. Daniel and Vala might never be together if he tells them about the alternate timeline. People should see what the future holds for them on their own. Daniel and Vala have to become a couple (fall in love) that way and not because Teal'c tells them about it (and therefore can ruin the whole thing).
jaffa dont age??
They age slower. You can see he does go gray after this.
So...does original Teal'c just...vanish? I'm rusty on the lore, but shouldn't there be 2 Teal'cs now? Survived and Future?
Think marvel movie logic, except him existing in the past erases that past teal'c but there is now a timeline where that happens and one where that doesn't.
189th comment tealc so brave 🎅👻🎃
Prometheus? Or odyssey.
Prometheus was the very first ship, it had a different design. This is most likely Odyssey.
+Jack D It is odyssey after it´s massive Asgard upgrades.
It's the Odyssey. The Prometheus was destroyed in the season 9 episode 'Ethon'.
Tauri ships and where to find them:
BC 303:
Prometheus: destroyed above Tegalus by Ori satellite, prior duties: defense of earth, milky way.
BC 304s:
USS Daedalus: responsible for *Pegasus* and Pegasus Earth supply line
USS Odysse: responsible for *milky way* galaxy
RFS Korolev: *destroyed* at the battle of the supergate by Ori beam weapons with only 8 survivors
USS Apollo: stationed on *Earth* while helping out in *Pegasus* when needed
Sun Tzu: badly damaged in fight against superhive, *abandoned* and currently stranded between Pegasus and the milky way, may be beyond repair
USS George Hammond: *Pegasus* , *milky way* *Ikarus base* (destroyed),
formerly USS Phoenix (*destroyed* in an *alternate timeline* during suicide run against Tods fleet by Carter after having been assigned to Pegasus)
Hammond 😛
I didn't much like this episode as to be the last one. But it is surely missed.
I has a sad.
...And that's how it ended
Well, there were 2 movies after this
I see Claudia Black in thumbnail I click.
Not my favourite episode. But in the top ten. Maybe even top five.
every time an american does say god an devil gets his wings
Sg1 was better farscape. Both oh them were good shows
An awful episode.

I disliked the video because the video made me sad.
Vala was such a bad character!!!!!
She was HAF and needed to be smashed.
She was a very naughty girl and needed a good spanking but would probably kick your ass if you tried it!
@@stevepettersen3283 i can't figure out why a woman so far from accepted norms of beauty is so damned hot.
@ Attitude!
I would have liked for Teal'c to have before the end to have related to the team how much his life had changed since helping them escape from Apophis and how they have become his family and that now he couldn't see his life without SG1
