My name is Nat and I am a gothic operatic singer, actor and voice artist based in the heart of Kent, England. Music has always played an important part in my life as a musician and I love to use my platform on UA-cam to share it in my music reactions.
I work on the basis of a reaction should be just that, you don't get another crack at it! What you see from me is the real deal. I don't pre-screen anything I see or work from tight scripts. I'm completely open, emotive and sensitive with my audience.

I just love how Ruben, the guy going "Pfffffffffffffft" at the end, cries at almost all Floor's songs on Beste Zangers. He's such a likable fellow (and cute af).
One great thing about Floor is the way she interprets the lyrics and melody of a song and extracts the most emotion out of it possible. When a singer can do that, the listener gets goosebumps.

When you‘re doing more of Floor at „Beste Zangers" I strongly suggest to you to take the clips posted by "jenniezelf" on UA-cam as she has also included the talking / interviews before and after with english subtitles. The concept of the show is, that on one day all singers sing a song for one of them.
It's a song that is by that singer or a song that means a lot for him / her. So it is very interesting to get to know the story behind each song. And it will help to understand the reactions of the other singers. Floor is singing there in German, Dutch, Spanis and English. Her "Phanom of the Opera" duet with Henk Poort is legendary.
jenniezelf is starting to get blocked just like Denise Hofs channel did. That stupid company (avrotros) is going to ruin good people simply because others from outside of the Netherlands want to hear all of this. :P

Floor is singing and Nat is tilting with singing birds in his head 😵. You don't need to know the original because this is the original now. Floor uses his excellent technique so eloquently that it seems like the notes comes without an effort. Masterclass of emotional ballad singing. Great observations from you, Nat. Thank you!

Loved your reaction to Floor's beautifully soft version of this song. As a member of the Nightwish Army, I acknowledge Floor's superiority over Lady Gaga, but, Gaga is a truly great singer & performer in her own right. You should listen to her version (I'd recommend either the official video or the live award show one w/ her & Bradley Cooper).. I think you'd love it, too.

Floor said that she had a difficult time keeping this as small as she did. It was the band leader that wanted it kept small because everything else she had done on the show up to this had turned into huge belting. So, maybe it was time for her to try something just a little out of her comfort zone. I think it worked great! :)

A very bare & stripped down version compared to the original. Floor is a pro at making a song her own, in her own style. Floor’s breathy head voice is apparently directly connected to my tear ducts. ❤️

You should let the song play for more than 20 seconds at a time, especially since you on't know the song. It's very iirritating.

@@Roller4x4 Dude. Do not completely discount the original writer. She counts for something or this awesome performance would never have happened in the first place. No need to be rude. Yes, obviously Floor killed this. So did Gaga when it first came out, or nobody would be interested in covering it.
That's a major statement because Gaga is an incredible singer, but yes Floor brought many layers to this song and her incredible range and control took the song to new places.

Nat,I've watched many of your reactions and while I appreciate your analysis and insights, you stop way too often and then you never go back a bit after, it really ruins the continuity of the song when you do that ,please consider going back a bit after you stop.thx. cheers
