Father is always just an observer but she always takes a different role. In "Katherine Knight" she actually gave Katherine the knife, while in others she's just whispering in the main character's ear or is simply there in the end.

Oddly this showed up in my my feed the day after seeing them perform live at Mama Roux's in Birmingham. Been following them for ages now and absolutely love them, their sound is phenomenal and I can say they pull it off on stage with ease. Don't really care for the subject matter...but, it IS a brilliant marketing strategy. People are always intrigued by what terrifies them. Instrumentals are great, and the vocals complimentary. I also have to admit that I've got a few of their songs on a playlist.

In light of the recent death of Metal Church singer Mike Howe, you should check out some Metal Church. Their old stuff is good, but he had left and then rejoined the band a few years back, and the stuff they had been coming out with recently was kick-ass. I'd recommend By the Numbers or No Tomorrow. RIP - Mike Howe. :(

I have listen to every song SKYND has released. As a former true crime nut I am kind of torn on this band. I appreciate the art in what they are doing. They are very talented musically and the concept of the lyrics being taken from interviews, news and others sources surrounding the cases is very creative. The part that tears me is the glorifying of these horrific crimes and evil people. Just like true crime podcasts and youtube videos. I know they are trying to get the story out but i just have to stop and wounder if some stories should just be forgotten.

My conclusion and that from dignosed second degree ASPD patients . Is that becoming a serial killer often stems from extreme pain and social isolation. I think I can make a guess, psychos are frankly damaged. Most people can get their kicks at watching a puppy wag their tail. We enjoy hearing laughter. The chirping of birds and the smile on a neighbor. But my best guess is these people dont have this exquisite positive stimuli. They instead do all sorts of horrible things to have the same fulfilment we do when something good happens. In a way, frankly, I feel sorry for them. On the other hand, there has to be other ways for these people to get off that dont necessarily imply the downfall of everything that surrounds them like a good math problem or something. ... Anyway, very disturbing, but certainly musically gratifying. Now time to listen to Joeys rendition of Its a wonderful world because this was very unsettling.
