Rest easy Akira Toriyama. Man, I watch dragonball or play one of the games almost every week in some capacity and I always forget hes passed on, and i remember suddenly and it sucks. Such a huge HUGE part of my childhood. As a kid DBZ and Akira Toriyama inadvertently helped me through the trauma, the lonliness, and the wondering if I wanted to keep being around.. RIP to an absolute legend and someone who helped to pave the way for anime and manga for DECADES to come. Who inspired millions of people of all ages to never give up and to keep going no matter what
Akira Toriyama revolutionized the shonen genre that inspired anime in general in the same way as Stan Lee is to comic books and Osamu Tezuka is to manga. Rest in power, Mr. Toriyama. King Kai is honored to meet you in the Other World in peace.
no he didn't. anime was very much already a thing. DBZ was shonen jumps big international breakthrough for manga. but anime popularity was very much a big thing before dragon ball
I was one of the only girls at my school to be obsessed with DragonBall and all the sagas that came afterwards. I don't know how many times I tried to make a spirit bomb, or break the sound barrier fighting my brothers. This was a big part of my childhood and how I grew up. I know he's been gone a while now, but I think about him and his work all the time. May he continue to rest in peace.
Even months after hearing the news, it still is unbelievable. I'm so grateful for Akira Toriyama and all that he has done. Truly an inspiration for the world ♥
Even though the man is gone his impact will last forever, I wasn't even born when Dragonball or Dragon's Quest were at their peak but I fell in love with his art and his stories all the same. In reality, Akira Toriyama will never truly be gone. His work transcends generations and cultures, he has achieved true immortality through the passion that he shared with every one of us.
Toriyama was a mad man. He touched countless people and will continue to touch people. Be it Dragon Ball, Sand Land, Dr Slump, Dragon Quest or Chrono Trigger. Most people struggle to have even one great work. Toriyama has multiple generation defining works.

I could go on forever about how much I love his work and the inspiration he brought to many things we also love. Godspeed, Toriyama-sensei, thank you for everything!
Fantastic tribute to the man who helped to bring anime and manga to the whole world. Akira Toriyama has helped to inspire and set the bar for the current and the upcoming generation of mangaka, artists, martial artists, storytellers, and so much more. In this world filled with popular anime and manga, so many owe inspiration to the man, and without him, it would be an entirely different landscape

And for that, i thank you, Toriyama-sensei! Rest easy in other world, we will meet again!
This is one of the most if not THE most beautiful tributes to Akita Toriyama San. Lots of respect to you and your team! Thank you so much for creating this and God bless!
Thank you for this. Up until now I haven't been able to fully express my emotion of his death, but thanks to this I've finally been able to do just that, and I'm glad I did. Akira Toriyama gave us the master piece that is the Dragon ball series, and I'm so grateful that he did, from the moment I first read the DBZ manga however long ago, to the hours spent watching the Anime, they where all such joyous moments, I Thank you so so very Much Akira Toriyama, and may you Rest in Peace.
Akira toriyama's passing, was one of the hardest deaths I've ever had to live through, in 28 years. Dragon Ball Z, has defined so much of me as a person, and it's had such an incredible impact on my life, as I'm sure I speak for many of us. I also paid tribute to him, in my last animation, and he's the reason I pursued art, and creativity. Dragon Ball has always been there, and were some of my earliest memories growing up. Losing him so abruptly, was a very sobering reminder of how precious life is. I got myself a Dragon Ball tattoo, and I've been hitting the gym since March. Across from me is the poster of Vegeta staring down broly from the incredible Legends animation. That project captured the essence of the series incredibly well, and I'm sure Akira Toriyama would have been amazed. It's on us to keep his legacy alive. Dragon Ball is for life, and I look forward to playing sparking zero with you guys, in October. Thank you Toriyama Sensei for everything.
He the reason why grew to be a scientist and inventor he inspired all of us to be a great and surpass ourselves and be greatest he live on through us thanks you
Wonderful truth to the legendary Akira Toriyama, he would be beyond honored to see this, as are we as fans to have been able to witness his great ideas brought to fruition on his mangas and shows. Rest in Power, always Akira Toriyama, the Grandfather of Manga.
Man this hits hard for me I’m 41 and that speech really reached home he really did take all of us by storm , I remember as a kid I woke up every Saturday morning to watch dbz 😊 knowing and realizing he’s gone hurts even not meeting him personally we can all appreciate what he gave us , a masterpiece we as a people of all nation can relate too thank you Akita toriyama and thank you sir for this video ❤
i havent yet watched all of dragon ball, but i feel the impact this man had on the community and animation as a whole and thats something that i really admire, nearly brought to tears when i hear people talk about the influence and inspiration he provided them with. this is no different.
Its been months, but from time to time I still feel weird remembering he is no longer here. He didnt know I even existed, but his works impacted my life so much. Thank you for this tribute man
The day I looked at dragon ball was the day I fell in love with it, it opened me to many other wnimes to eventually watch and/or discover. But even after watching so many other animes, dragon ball has stuck with me for the longest time and continues to. Because there is truly no other anime like dragon ball, thank you Akira toriyama!
Honestly this was a really nice and wholesome tribute, its a shame we lost him but his story will live on through his works, thank you Akira Toriyama 🙏
Congrats friend. Your tribute, your message of kindness to the man who participates in the life of all of us. We will always remember this man. Thank you.
I thought i was over this. I thoughtbi had overcome the undeniable urge for tears, swelling with every short and video thats popped up in my recomended. The time may have passed for this news, but I am happy to have been reminded of this great man. May the legend rest in peace. Fly high Akira Toriyama

Thank you for creating this wonderful tribute to the late great Akira Toriyama. Hope to see more of you man. And thank you Toriyama sensi, fly high with shenron and teach that dinosaur to ride a ball....a dragonball 🐉🐲
Even to us who were born years past that of Dragon Ball's days on prime time television, his impact never failed. The story inspired all of us to be better in one way or another. Thank you once more, to the greatest, most powerful, Akira Toriyama.
When I thought I was done crying. This made me cry again. But with the means to look forward and get what I need done. Farewell again you absolute legend. And thx for a beautiful send off.
This man… no… this legend… his story is something that can only be described as something legendary. He created a story, a character that not only defined a generation but inspired us all to become better, to push ourselves no matter what stood on our way. He made anime what it is today. We’ll pass down his story to newer generations. Sayonara Akira Toriyama. You are number one.
What a amazing video guys, thank you very much. I'm proud to be a Dragon Ball fan. God bless you Akira Toriyama sensei , you are the the greatest mangaka of all the time.
Mr Toriyama’s least favorite character (Vegeta) respects him and his legacy after all he’s done. Goku takes his father to the Otherworld after a feast. This truly is the Number 1 tribute. Thank you, Akira Toriyama.
This is an amazing tribute! Rest in peace, Toriyama-sensei. You'll always be one of the, if not, THE inspiration to all aspiring mangakas. Rest in peace, the legend.
Great tribute to the legendary Toriyama but just a note and also to not disrespect another legendary mangaka, the title godfather of manga is reserved to Osamu Tezuka, who is also Akira Toriyama's inspiration to start drawing.
Oh my God, this is beautiful, I want to cry so bad, his inspiring stories have motivated me to push myself past my limits and even plan to make comics books in the future 🥲
This is a magnificent tribute to one of the most inspirational human beings ever. I have never met you but I am proud of you and I'm certain that Akira Toriyama will be too!
Fascinating, I entered a comment room full of warriors well over 9000! Blessed to having been there from the beginning in the 90's . Legacy. RIP Akira Toriyama
This was straight up beautiful, words alone can't describe this tribute to Master Toriyama. This man not only showed us how to live but also how we should want to leave this earth, leaving behind a legacy to future generations to come.
To the Man, the Myth, and LEGEND. A moment of silence, for Master Akira Toriyama: April 5, 1955 - March 1, 2024.

He the reason why grew to be a scientist and inventor he inspired all of us to be a great and surpass ourselves and be greatest he live on through us thanks you
Well said and good luck with the training!
This is amazing! Rest in Peace, Akira Toriyama. May your legacy continue to shine through your work and the people you inspired.
This tribute was beyond beautiful. I have no words to describe how much this hit me in my feels.
Wonderful truth to the legendary Akira Toriyama, he would be beyond honored to see this, as are we as fans to have been able to witness his great ideas brought to fruition on his mangas and shows. Rest in Power, always Akira Toriyama, the Grandfather of Manga.

i havent yet watched all of dragon ball, but i feel the impact this man had on the community and animation as a whole and thats something that i really admire, nearly brought to tears when i hear people talk about the influence and inspiration he provided them with. this is no different.
Its been months, but from time to time I still feel weird remembering he is no longer here. He didnt know I even existed, but his works impacted my life so much.

Even to us who were born years past that of Dragon Ball's days on prime time television, his impact never failed. The story inspired all of us to be better in one way or another. Thank you once more, to the greatest, most powerful, Akira Toriyama.
Yep, once again the memories came back... Nice one, Agent. Nice one.
This was a heartfelt profound send off. Felt every word as truth in my heart

This is truly magnificent. Just said what we all were thinking. You will me missed Toriyama-sensei.
Now that's how you give tribute to someone, by showing both deep respect & love. Thank you.
Oh my God, this is beautiful, I want to cry so bad, his inspiring stories have motivated me to push myself past my limits and even plan to make comics books in the future 🥲
Como siempre, es un verdadero placer ver tu estilo de dibujo y este homenaje al maestro Toriyama. Gracias.
