    So let's dig into my Mito Red MitoPRO 300 review:
    ✅ Overall, I'm very happy with Mito Red - the company has come out with some great products such as the MitoPRO 1500 which won my 2021/2022 body comparison series. The MitoPRO 300 is a tabletop unit, so it's smaller than the body red light therapy devices
    ✅ The MitoPRO 300 is also their most popular panel right now, which surprised me but it makes sense as many want it for the skin or beauty reasons. The price comes for $350 but with discount code ALEX you a price of $332 USD if you use the following link: aferg.co/7d221
    ✅ I'll test the product with my EMF meter, spectrometer, sound meter, and run through all the numbers in this Mito Red MitoPRO 300 review. Later this year I'll also do a bit tabletop comparison
    ✅ The MitoRed 300 has 60 LEDs, wavelengths are spread between 630, 660, 830, and 850 nanometers, and comes with a tabletop stand. The stand is really sturdy and firm and the stand is removable. You can also connect multiple panels together through modular support
    ✅ US shipping is free but to other countries, it's $80-100 USD. Shipping costs are a bit expensive but have become more expensive as well
    ✅ The box includes all the regulars - such as the door hanging hook, pulley system, and so fort - including a nice manual that has lots of good information. There's also new goggles and glasses, a nice addition, as the glasses let some light through
    ✅ Next up, I measured power output and wavelengths. The wavelengths lined up with what was advertized. The peak power was 72 mW/cm2, which is very good. The power output over 9 spots was 57.2 mW/cm2, which are the best figures I've tested so far. The total wattage is 22.6 Watts
    ✅ The value is $5.50 per LED and $ USD per Watt is 14.7, which is great
    ✅ Operations, overall, are simple and easy
    ✅ My MitoPRO 1500 has been exceptionally good, although I haven't used the MitoPRO 300 for a long time. The MitoPRO 750 costs $650 USD without code ALEX which has 150 LEDs which is more economical but you'll need a stand. Then, the MitoMOD 300 is an option but it only emits 2 wavelengths but it's only a little bit cheaper and the MitoMIN.
    ✅ Overall, the MitoPRO 300 is a great product! We'll see whether it's the best on the market though, soon

    I think the MitoPro 300 is an excellent starter panel for any use case, not just skin care. It's small enough to be easily portable and configurable, and it's just as capable as Mito's larger units. This unit will likely be my 1st panel purchase because I don't want to spend a fortune initially. However, I do want to have a full body setup eventually and the modularity of the MitoPro line allows a newcomer like me to get started using targeted RLT for a relatively low price and easily expand to a full body setup over time. I really like that.

    Highly recommend, especially for a beginner. I first started with this panel to treat low back pain and shoulder tendonitis. It was easy to set up on a table so I could sit or lay in front of it. The base was even stable enough to sit on the bed without tipping over. I liked that it was small enough I could move it anywhere in the house or even travel by car with it, but I could also add it to a larger panel if I wanted to invest more. It was powerful and effective, and didn’t seem to get warm at all even when using it back to back on multiple body parts or even more than one person. As a newbie to this tech it was a nice entry point between the risks of buying cheap devices that may be too underpowered to get benefits versus investing a ton of money when this therapy may not have helped my issues at all. I also liked that this company had a longer trial period and warranty than most in my budget.

      what were your results?...low back pain?....tendonitis?

    • @selahr.
      @selahr. Рік тому +18

      @@goddessandcuchi Results for the shoulder tendonitis were amazing. Nothing had helped for around six weeks, it was suspected to be caused by Mixed Connective Tissue Disorder. I think I started with ten minute sessions (before bed and after waking up) and by the third day the pain relief and mobility range were markedly improved, by the end of the first week I could finally sleep on that shoulder again, and within a month it was completely resolved even after dropping to fewer sessions.
      My back pain is from a tangle of Fibromyalgia, Mixed Connective Tissue Disease, and nerve root damage and inflammation from Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy. For me, the red light treatment relieves stiffness, and seems to decrease inflammation related pain. It also doesn’t cause the problems I have in other areas of my body when using heating pads, ice packs, or hot tubs (all of which can help a localized section of the back feel better while setting off nerve pain or rebound inflammation pain in surrounding areas/nerve branches). It also helps normalize circulation and skin temperature when my body gets confused and turns painful areas extremely cold (like Reynaud’s syndrome in Lupus, which I also struggle with, so I use red light on my cold hands and feet too).
      It’s been life changing for me and I ended up investing in larger panels when I could afford to.

      As for your dog - I don't have any experience with them, but you may also consider the mats or large belts - and your dog may prefer to lay on them? Alternatively a tabletop panel - or a larger panel on it's side sitting on the ground may also work well.

      Hey. Thanks for the kind words!
      So i recently typed up a good answer to this question in our FB group - facebook.com/groups/lighttherapyinsiders/ - but for the life of me I can't find it!
      I'll do a video/article on this topic soon. But in a nut shell traditionally used 660nm and 850nm light as these were easy / cheap to access and had good reseach behind them. They're also in the spectrum where it has been shown that Mitochrondira benefit. But there is actually more research on other wavelengths - such as 810nm than 850nm. These are also used by mitochrondria. But until recently they have been more expensive to use in a product. So now we're seeing all these new panels coming out with these other wavelengths that do look really promising. You can see more about 810nm here for instance - www.alexfergus.com/blog/810-nanometer-wavelength-effects
      MitoRed also have a new MitoADAPT range - so you can see the difference between that and the PRO version here - ua-cam.com/video/8CV645EOsdg/v-deo.html

    Great review as always from alex! I recently purchased two Biomox 900 plus stand and I’m in love. That said, I find that there are some spots I would like to spot treat, such as the knee for torn meniscus. I am unclear whether the spot treatment units, as well as us this table top have the same power as the large Full body panels, just focus into a small area, or if the power is not comparable. Also I believe that Alex recently said that the wraps Are not as powerful either, so that you’re better off with a full body panels. I’m just wondering about this areas that are hard to target. When you lie down and use the horizontal stand do you have obviously different distances from different parts of your body so it’s hard to specifically have every part of your body at the same distance from the light. For that reason I’m wondering if a spot unit is helpful as an extra unit to use at a different time of the day in that specific area. Basically the supplement it,

    • @AlexFergusdotcom
      @AlexFergusdotcom  Рік тому +2

      Thanks :)
      Hey yeah typically the large panels are putting out more power than smaller units. I have tested a knee wrap and the power on that was quite low. BUT - you need to remember you use that right up against the body, and can leave it on for longer and still move around(without having to stand next to a large panel etc).
      You hit the nail on the head - the smaller devices supplement the larger ones.
      If someone only had $1000 to spend, I'd say get one BioMax 900. But if you can spend more, then sure, get the large panels and also get some smaller units.
      I have a bunch of 900's, but I still use my MitoRed Battery Powered device when I'm treating a small issue. I leave it in our coffee table drawer in our lounge. So I might be watching tv or reading a magazine or hanging with the kids and I can use that for a few minutes when needed :)

    • @AlexFergusdotcom

      Hey. Thank you :)
      Yes this is a good panel option!
      Oh I'm sorry to hear about your sister. My Son also has epilepsy, it is horrible. I am doing a lot of research on RLT and epilepsy - as it does look like it can help. But the research is limited and the mechanisms of actions aren't understood.
      I still haven't used any RLT on my son - mainly because 1) he is so young (just turned 4), 2) his medication is working well, and 3) I want to get more data and run it past a neurologist first.
      But if I was an epilepsy sufferer, given the benefits I have seen i would be using it myself. I would probably look at the helmets or headsets over a panel though (I have some content on these coming out soon). You could also check out the Vielight - www.alexfergus.com/blog/vielight-review-does-red-light-on-the-brain-up-the-nose-improves-cognitive-function
      Oh and have a look at this document -
      aferg.co/science - do a search for epilepsy and you will see all the studies on the topic.
      If I do find some break through evidence or do have updates I may look at doing some videos on this topic in the future :)
      All the best and let me know how you get on.

TIA!!

    • @AlexFergusdotcom
      @AlexFergusdotcom  Рік тому +2

      Hey thank you.
      There are devices out there that are specifically for the brain - Such as the Vielight.
      But a panel may be better suited. You'd want something with a lot of NIR light - so 810nm, 830nm, 850nm etc. The MitoRed Panels have 50% of their energy going to 830nm and 850nm - which is good, but it is a shame there is no 810nm. The Infraredi Flex range does have 810nm (as well as the 830 and 850nm) - I have a review here - ua-cam.com/video/Srcs-bhU18Y/v-deo.html
      Likewise the BioMax range - but the biomax has most of the NIR light in the 850nm range, I'd be after something that has a decent amount of 810nm to be honest. So Maybe the infraredi - as the NIR is split equally between 810, 830 and 850nm.
      Discount code ALEX will work on any of these panels as well :)
      Good luck - keep me posted on how your health journey with RLT tracks!

    Should the pro300 put out any heat from the bulbs?

    • @AlexFergusdotcom
      @AlexFergusdotcom  Рік тому

      Thanks for your support. Yeah there will be a little bit of heat from the NIR bulbs. They do generate a lot of heat - hence why the fans and heat sinks are there. But it shouldn't be hot - as in you shouldn't get burnt by touching the panel etc. If that is happening something is wrong and you need to message the company.

    Hello Alex. Would a Hooga Red and NIR bulb work just as good as these panels? Is the only difference the coverage area, where with the bulb you will have to move it around to different spots? I know the MitoPro300 has the two additional wavelengths but besides that, can you still get the same benefits?

I was not sick for a month and I am always sick, so I would really like to purchase a device. The salon had the joovv 3.0 panel. Can I get the same results at home with a table top such as the MitoPro 300? Price is a factor and am finding many less expensive mats and panels but not disclosing the specs I am learning from you which is concerning. I have pain and sickness almost everyday. Injures lead to pharmaceuticals and the more damage. Can this table top version penetrate healing as much as larger panels?
