Black Noir has to be one of my favorite Supe in The Boys because of how expressive he is despite not having any facial expressions or Dialogue, it’s all in his body language and you can tell exactly what he’s thinking and that just makes him such a good character, he has so much personality for a mute character.

Honestly, if it had been the Noir from the comics, nobody would’ve cared. But since they gave him a bit more of a sympathetic lean in the show, his death is one of the more emotional ones in the show.

Homelander might not have taken the news that his Petri dish dad was betrayed and given to the Russians by his “best friend”, Stan Edger obviously had a strong control over Black Noir and probably made sure he didn’t let the info slip, and telling Homelander could’ve led him to breaking Soldier Boy out of Russia which of course Black Noir would’ve never ever have wanted himself. Just like with Homelander’s son it was a hard ‘don’t ever let him find out’ situation.

Don´t know if you are aware of this...Still in the comics he is NOT. Originally Black Noir is a clone of Home Lander. Physically & power wise they are identical. However in the comics Noir was raised completely different than Home Lander. So mentally they are very, very different. Not in a good way though
I feel like Homelander eliminating Black Noir will come back to haunt him somehow. Especially considering he doesn't have many allies Noir was loyal to him and stood by him his whole life. To take him out pretty much leaves Homelander standing alone which will be to his detriment.

That first fight with Kimiko was brutal, but i got the sense that it was infact Noirs first time actually fighting another supe, at various points its like he holds back before striking trying to understand his opponent more than he ever had before. Now i may be wrong, but i feel part of the original Noirs powers was an ability to copy his enemies, much like Taskmaster. But it was this fact that gave Kimiko the upper hand, atleast until Noir realized the extent of the threat.
