Great job with the hammerhead, Brant. I especially appreciated the way you handled the shark on the beach, keeping his head and gills in the water and releasing him quickly. Excellent example for your viewers on the way it should be done. Loved it!
I’m 63 years old and our parents use to take our family camping at Ft. Pickens beginning in the early 60’s. Once we were trapped on Santa Rosa Island due to a tropical storm blowing in out of the Gulf and we had to spend the night in the fort/ bunker near the picnic pavilions on Pensacola Bay, it’s was quite the experience for a 7 year old boy from St. Bernard Parish, La., I must say we had the most awesome parents. Once again thanks for the great videos.
Impressive battle! I am still amazed that you landed that shark! Beared Brad did a great job as well with that sea turtle! This has happened to me on piers, but never from the beach! Great team effort on both the shark and the turtle.
Awesome scallop hammerhead shark Brad! Biggest one I've caught was only 4ft off of Tybee Island, GA. You are right about the fight. Next you need a giant Goliath. Look forward to your next adventure always.
Brant you are pulling in the Sharks now! Very nice 👍🏼! Last year I requested some shark fishing from the beach and boy have you delivered. Fun to watch, well done.
That was a nice hammer!! Jack is the Dude!!! Brads hammer looked pretty close to that ones size. The camera view might not be that good to tell size tho. Great catch any way you look at it.
Talk about a day that just takes off. Nice work Brant. Gonna go check out jacks channel. Glad you got that Turtle off and released as well as you did. A good and fun morning. Thanks for taking me along. Going out tomorrow.
My daughter and her 3 daughters spent the last 4 days in Pensacola Beach. They loved it. Wish I could have gone. I wanted to do some beach fishing like you & Brad. That looked like fun. Big Hammer.
Fantastic video Brant congratulations on Landing that hammer Epic battle after a fight like that I know your arms had to be tired also know that you have no regrets walking off the beach with a memory like that and what a great thing to see by bearded Brad with the sea turtle hate to see them caught like that but you guys handled it so great got him on hooked and released with minimal stress this is what sportsmanship is all about you guys have started out with an epic spring can't wait to see what happens next👍👍👍
Dang Brant!!!! You guys had me on the edge of my seat!!!! Congratulations on that Hammer!!!! This was my first time seeing one caught on a hook!!! I feel like I was live and in person. Shout out to my man Brad and Tarzan for his awesome assist!!! 😅😅😅
From the look of that battle, thought you might have to back up to the Alabama state line!!! 👍🏻❤❤❤ That was fun...love seeing the sky today, wasn't it beautiful!!! ❤
Thank you very much for putting that video out Brant. Keep on doing what you're doing, everything I've seen so far from you and a couple other people on UA-cam (probably some of your acquaintances), for having these kinds of videos out there because, it's not just something you're doing for fun, you're helping people that need the most help they can possibly get, and those people are namely....ME!! I've actually been taking notes. Maybe you can help me out, I'm looking for some basic saltwater gear. I probably won't be doing any surf fishing in the near future because I'm recuperating from a few more or less orthopedic operations, but I want to get out on a pier or a bridge, and all I had are like spinning rods/reels that you would use for or trout freshwater up north. Nothing to write home about, but I still want to just get something basic that I can't afford, and get out there and do something soon! Thanks again! And God bless!
Wow! When I was a child I lived in Ohio and my Dad took me fishing a lot. My grandparents lived in south Florida and we used to go on vacation to see them and fish. Deep sea etc. The first Hammerhead Shark I ever saw I was very young and it looked like an alien. The eyes out there on each end of the hammer head is cemented in my feeble brain. Nice catch sir 🤙🤙
I saw Brad catch his Hamnerhead in another video yours looked bigger. I was down near the pass on gulf side yesterday and hammerheads were cruising up and down within 50 yds of beach all morning lots of opportunity to get one in that area of fort pickens
Such a good catch! Also a big sea turtle. Mann, another catch. Big one! Beautiful reel. 12' rod. M an, I want one. LORDY DAY!! HUGE SCALLOP HAMMERHEAD. GOOD JOB!!
Caught my first hammer a month ago off the benches of sanibel island, didn’t get a Measurement on him but I’d say he was in the 10 to 12 foot range, and it took me and my girlfriend over an hour to haul him in on a Conventional reel with 100 pound braid. Definitely a crazy experience!! Congratulations on your first!!!👍🏻👍🏻
Oh forgot to mention, caught a few turtles in the lakes fishing for trout, Bearded Brad is next level smashing those salt water monsters, is his channel going to do a catch and cook steamed turtle in the shell with Tabasco, maybe he could collect some eggs early morning for brekky too
The water on that beach goes deep blue close, all the best with your digital fishing guide, you spend the money on the flights, on the accommodation y not spend a little on the recreation great idea mate. Shark off the beach always tough, your reverse 100 yard dash pretty funny but you got to do what u got to do to land these monsters. Big shout out for the dude in the black shirt removing the hook & getting the fish back in the water, not to sure I’m going waste deep in the drink with a shark but he was more excited than you to see the fish returned, great content as always, cheers from down under you have a great channel I really love to watch, thanks mate
Great landing on that light tackle. Skill won today over gear. you got lucky he did not tailwhip that braid. Didnt see your leader, but doubt it was longer than that shark.
Brant I just started watching your videos and they are really fun to watch! I’m going to gulf shores in September and it’s gonna be my first time ever saltwater fishing. Do you know what kinds of rigs and baits to use at that time, because I’m not too sure what to use?
How do I find this digital product you mention at the start of your video? We're gonna be staying on Pensacola beach in May and I'm gearing up now to do some surf fishing with the family while we're there. Absolutely LOVE your channel! My 11 year old daughter and I watch every night!
I know I'm late to the party. But that was awesome. Congratulations on this catch, ond all the others. A newish sub, but had to cool down, before going ba😢 into that Ormond/ Daytona area sun. Thank you for the content you bring.
Anytime someone says, “pound for pound” I instantly think of Roy Jones Jr. - Pound for pound the best boxer! A Pensacola boy to boot! Great catches, Jack & Hammer!! What a day!
Me and my brother in law are going to Pensacola next summer in June to do some fishing could you be our fishing guide we never been to Pensacola before!
Great job with the hammerhead, Brant. I especially appreciated the way you handled the shark on the beach, keeping his head and gills in the water and releasing him quickly. Excellent example for your viewers on the way it should be done. Loved it!
Congrats dude! I still caught my hammer first lol
That means you win. 😁
And you also caught a sea turtle from the beach and it didn't break you off! I have never seen that done before!
Do you know what size hook and leader he used?
What day and this guy was helping you he is amazing just like you all!!
you just renewed the video dude 🖕
Jack is the MAN. Jumping the water with an 8 foot shark, and not thinking a thing about it. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through your video.
And me as well. I need a cold shower now
Spoiler alert 🙄
Man spoiled it 🙄

Nice job on that fight brother. Damn that was a big one for 50 lb braid.
Awesome catch
What is your rod and reel combo on the first fish. The jack
I’m trying to get my setups right. Are you using a shock leader on that 50 lb braid or just straight to the rig?
I’m using a 100# mono shock leader about 7ft long and a 90# steal leader that’s about 2ft long attached to the mono
That was amazing, great hammer head.
