God put "Tom Macdonald "at Perfect timing.As I was relapsing in my depression and self hate.Long story as short as possible my youngest son past away from a rare neurological degenerative disorder after a terrible battle with him being bedridden for last 6 years of his life. I had started cleaning out some old boxes found a stuffed animal I put in his hands everyday , all the pain rushed back in all at the same time, Crying so hard couldn't see, lying in the floor,asking "God", Why? Why not me instead of my son.
Had enough , decided I'm done, started to get up and this incredible voice came on UA-cam on my tv.That voice and song was "Tom Macdonald ""Angels",did not go to cabinet to end it all.Listened to "Angels",5 -6 tumes.Started my journey down the Tom Macdonald rabbit hole.
This is amazing. There was a comment under his you tube videos of Angel's from a VET. Literally had the noose is his hand, and Angel's came on. Said it saved his life.
The thread blew up with other people reaching out to him and each other, mostly from other VETs. Made me cry.

I got saved at 25 in a jail cell and it was a beautiful experience!! I heard what you’ve shared about your story and it’s very similar to mine. I got married a year and a half ago and I’m so grateful to have someone who understands me and rode my storm with me. My husband did CPR until an ambulance arrived and revived me after I ODd.
I haven’t told anyone but I’m so close to the edge of throwing away 5.5 years. Your videos have really helped my mindset start to shift. Maybe this time instead of watching the train go off the tracks I can save it. I don’t always beat the demons that tell me to sleep for one more hour or put off tasks. I lost today, but I’ll try again tomorrow. Just saying it to someone helps a lot. I’ve noticed I don’t pray as much as I used to and I stopped going to church so your openness with your faith is inspiring. Keep giving God the glory!!

I don’t like that he said “hail satan,” but he’s not actually saying it like he’s satanic. He’s saying it because him and his fans have worked so hard to build the foundation and build the house. He’s saying they’re with him til the end, and they’d go to great lengths to bring him back to keep building.
The "Hail S" part-- it took Tom some time to come around. He still hasn't fully accepted Christ but as you watch his progression, you'll see him getting closer. I Pray for his Salvation & have faith that he will continue to grow & build a relationship with God.
The "Hail S" part was nothing more than a "creative" way to describe how true his fans are and how much we have his back. It wasn't meant literally. None of us would do that. However, we will not allow his legacy/message to die or be rewritten, which is actually all that he meant. If you know Tom's entire body of work, (not just what's on UA-cam), you'll see he speaks out about the industry or big chunk of it worshipping or being controlled by Satan. I also wouldn't assume he hasn't found Christ either. He's admitted that he believes God has spoken through him.

Tom is a Christan at this point or the story, he grew into this and he is still building it up.
People need to stop putting that label on him. Tom is spiritual, believes in some kind of higher power that he refers to as God. But as he has said many times in interviews, he does not appreciate anything organized, political parties or religion. He wants to believe what he believes, and worship how he wants to.
He's also said that his values most align with christianity. But he's not joining any particular religion or church.

Roger that Higher Power Brother. I wouldn't be who I've become without Jesus and my Faith in Jesus. Trust me I'm 57 I've roofed for 20yrs and Toured with Dying Fetus from 2008-2020. I've had 10 surgeries in the last 14yrs. I was taking at one time for 6 yrs 180 oxy 30s and 90 10mg methadone every 28 days, just to function thru each day n nite... Today I haven't taken a pain pill in 2yrs now. I take 18mg suboxone each day now and I feel 100% better... I kno bout addiction and being that 1% 1 out of a 100 that gets off the opiates and stay off them. JESUS SAVES!✝️#5150💯

I've listened and watched every single Tom video... have yet to see one that is 'bad'.
There are many sociopolitical songs, but he speaks from pointing out the ridiculousness in society. He starts conversations. He is in the middle, but he currently leans to the right a bit.

On the topic of God, I agree with you 100%. I do have to point out though that the hail satan line was tongue in cheek referencing someone who would use dark forces to resurrect him. Tom is also Christian I believe and a lot of his content suggests you two would see eye to eye on a lot of things. The first song of his I heard was “If I was black”, but I followed Nova’s rap career and heard his name in news about them.

The line he says in "This House" is to be taken very heavily metaphorically. It's to basically say, "my fans love me so much, and I them, that they and I will go to extreme lengths to keep my name alive." Also, at this time he was still finding God. He went through times that made him stray away, but he was finding God as well as himself throughout his journey. If you heard at the very end of the song he said "When God shakes my hand, please celebrate!" Tom has talked about his relationship with God and where it's at now, and he's talked about satanic worship in music now days. He has a song called "satanic rappers". Tom isn't one of them at all. A lot of people take that line and assume so, heck it threw me aback the first few times I heard it, but once realizing the heavy metaphorical meaning I realized what he was saying. Doesn't mean it stings less, it's still hard to hear, but I understand what he means. Anyway, this isn't the mac lethal diss or saga. This was before it. What started it was Tom dropped "straight white male" a heavily satirical song about stereo types given to straight white males in America. Mac heard it and took it as Tom saying "straight white males are oppressed in America. Definitely not what he was saying. So Mac got on Twitter and started an online war lol, and they tweeted back and forth. Tom then baited him with "Lethal injection", Mac took the bait and did "single white female", then Tom caught a body, buried and had a funeral for Mac with "Mac Lethal Sucks diss2". Tom wasn't saying he was worshiping Satan like people think. Re-listen he was using a analogy about his fans bringing him back from the death his enemies & haters put on him on the daily. As a Christian that bothered me too until I re-listened & broke down each sentence of the song. Tom isn't a Christian currently but he has stated he knows there's a higher power & he's interested in learning more. Nearly Every song he makes calls out the evils of the world in one way or another. I've been praying Jesus shows himself to Tom. He clearly has the mindset of a Christian!

I believe the “Hail Satan” is the false belief that the devil can grant the ability to resurrect, Tom knows that. God doesn’t promise a “2nd” life, he offers you an eternal one by his side. Also the saying of “Hail Satan” shows how desperate you can become when you feel as if God punished you in some way, Tom is stressing that too I believe.

I cant sleep by tom macdonald made during covid times where he was stuck at home all day and demons were kicking in fire track.
When i was growing up in the 90s Michael Jackson was my favorite artist, Will Smith was my favorite actor. I watched family matters, Brandy, Cosby show, fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Steve Harvey show, Jamie fox show, etc. i thought racism was basically dead as a little kid.
Internet blew up and it was like culture dispersed into their own shadowy corners. Now people say everything is racist and most of the time i think it has nothing to do with race and everything to do with culture. We're a nation of hundreds of unique and wildly different cultures and we don't always understand each other's world, and that doesn't mean there's hate.
I'd love it if you'd watch "my fans" and "I wish" by Tom. He reached out to fans of his to help make both of these. You mentioned his diehard fans being an amazing fanbase to have and it just reminded me of these two songs. I've seen people cry reacting to those.

That's why I never held that against him nor thought he meant it the way it can seem. I realized the woven in true meaning of it thankfully. Thank You Jesus 🙏✝️🙏
This song is about how he and his fans built this house from scratch and how they will go to extreme lenghts to protect Tom and his legacy. That bar is just a creative metaphor for how far his die hard fans would go. It's not meant literally.

The feud between Tom MacDonald and Mac Lethal started in May 2019 after Mac Lethal made a tweet that Tom MacDonald interpreted as a jab at him. Mac Lethal's tweet was:
"This white dude who raps about how white dudes are super oppressed is garbage. I don’t know his name. Not gonna learn it. His bars are f*ing awful and he can’t rap."**
While Mac Lethal didn’t mention Tom MacDonald by name, Tom believed the tweet was directed at him because of the themes in some of his songs, particularly those addressing social and racial issues. Tom responded with his diss track, "Lethal Injection," directly targeting Mac Lethal.
Mac Lethal initially denied that the tweet was about Tom MacDonald, but the feud escalated from there with both rappers releasing diss tracks. Mac Lethal responded with "Single White Female," and Tom hit back with "Mac Lethal Sucks." This back-and-forth continued until the feud fizzled out.

Also a lot of people seem to not really hear what he means with the Satan part - it's not that he is a devil worshipper or anything but it's about him getting resurrected. Just pointing out how far his fans would go for him.
