I'm 39 and getting my 10 year old into BMX... Things have definitely changed since cruising my GT Interceptor in the early 90's. This video made allot of sense and was clear. Thanks for the videos.

Yeah same with mountain bikes. They keep changing standards and new tech constantly (tapered head tubes for example limit your fork choice if you have an old bike). You buy a bike as an upgrade platform and in 10 years, newer parts become incompatible.

BMX are like cars. New ones are engineered to perfection. But old school ones have style 💯

I just purchased a 20 in Fat Tire folding e bike, I've been researching and looking up stuff ,this brings back such awesome memories, I'm 53 me and my best buds were so into BMX in our teens, we had Diamondback supergoose mongoose GT Redline it was awesome ! even the parts we used to have I'm starting to remember again I just ordered a pair of odi mushroom grips for my new bike and a laid-back seatpost, 80s BMX
... nothing was better, I'm really interested what the new school is looking like as far as BMX . I can't do it anymore but I love to watch it awesome fun guys

Mod up or loose out boy on the old school. Easy as mate. Just tell everyone the truth. I put 990 mount on my xxl robinson and re chromed it at 17. Was easy to do. Just my time and electro plating. But man it worked so well and like a dime to stop. Also upgrade the robinson dropouts to 8mm for racing and dirtbiking. Re chromed again and was the best bike with balance I've ever riden.
