I guess in general, but one of the playable characters, very rare recruitable NPC "Professional Hitman" (which was shown in this video) was clearly inspired by John Wick and his moveset, they even used John Wick soundtrack and bathouse location in the gameplay trailer. I'm not a big fan of WDL but I have to admit the combat encounters while playing as him were awesome.

Watch Dogs Legion was actually very underrated when it came to its combat. I enjoyed the combat in the game so much both melee and ranged combat. It was very John Wick Styled.

Splinter Cell Conviction was the first game I thought about even before Max Payne. I was going to suggest it until I saw it on the list.

For me, Cyberpunk is the definitive John wick game. You can customize your build to just pistols and it feels awesome. It’s the cherry on top that Keanu is literally in the game

Hitman 3 feels more like Sam Fisher than John Wick. They didn’t have the animations for gun-fu takedowns

Surprised Superhot VR didn’t get on the list. Ok so you can’t actually move around the environment but the gunplay and dodging bullets with as much style as possible allowed for some genuinely breathtaking gameplay. Side note - my brother and I used to refer to Superhot VR as John Wick lol

The game Watch Dogs 1, where Aiden Pearce is featured, has a very John Wick style. Splinter Cell Blacklist would be great, not to mention the game that uses executions like Sniper Elite 5, but it doesn't have executions with a firearm in close combat. What I'm getting at is that if you want close combat like Gun-Combat or Gun-fu, that would be the John Wick style. I also recommend games like Assassin's Creed 3, which has some similarity in close combat.
The game Sleeping Dogs has a bit of a more brutal style but not much Gun-fu. Let's not forget Modern Warfare, the executions are very much of this type. Without underestimating, the executions make the game more similar to Watch Dogs Legion, as you mentioned.

Hitman Absolution maybe the black sheep in a herd but it definitely feels like it'd play out the best if played in such manner
Days gone once you unlock most of the skills gives a bonus to chaining melee and ranged combat together. Especially if you are fighting a horde.

A proper John Wick game, not strategy based like John Wick: Hex would be bitchin'. I really love the Hex game, also enjoyed the Peaky Blinders game, but being able to control John Wick with Sifu style hand-to-hand combat, mixed with Metal Gear/Call of Duty shooting, it would be a huge success.
I actually bought max Payne 3 and I haven't regretted it
RE4 Remake is missing here, I ALWAYS play the village map in mercenaries as Leon with "Shots Fired" and "John Wick Mode" in the background

there's a mod for legion where you can edit your character, i once made the utimate character mixing spy and hitman and few more perks

Theres a mod for Half Life Alyx called "Gunman Contracts" which is directly based off John Wick and it is EXCELLENT, the mod developer is actually releasing a full game with that same title soon as well. theres a trailer for it on youtube, basically showing off a level based on the stairs of the Sacré Coeur from John Wick 4.

Honestly if you replace Fisher with with John in Conviction, you won't be able to tell if the game was meant to be a John Wick game or not. Max Payne 3 is a close second but I think Splinter Cell Conviction is the closest one can get to Johm Wick game right now

While WDL is a ok game it only feels like a John Wick game when you have 2 specific characters (1 the spy, and 2 the hitman).

To be fair, WatchDogs 1 combat is just a better version of Legion either way, so the critics weren't ALL that far off when Ubisoft already pulled better years ago...
