Then again you start experiencing new symptom, I've been having all anxiety symptoms, dizziness, tinnitus, fatigue, insomnia, acid reflux, chest tightness, muscle tension everyday, over thinking and so on..... phew!
      Idk how to reduce stress knowing it's one main thing that's causing all these symptom's

    • @ImprovementPath
      @ImprovementPath  5 років тому +17

      Ahhhr i know those times all too well 😕.
      Waking up two hours earlier and start the day off with some structure, planing and "me" time was something that has helped me lower stress tremendously.
      Keeping away from cafeinated drinks as long as you are still sensitized would be a good idea.
      A real and passionate hobby that you can focus on and that perhaps can even bring you further to your goals in life. Dont forget time not wasted on thinking about anxiety is time you are lowering stress :)
      Muscle relaxation techniques, short breathing exercises and tiny meditation/mindfulness sessions are some tools that i have successfully made use of later on my recovery journey.
      There are many small twists and changes in your daily life that can make it easier and more enjoyable and which will ultimately result in lowered stress 😎💕

Yourself will be the answer see because anxiety and panic arnt attacking you,it's actually there to protect you. Learn to Accept slowly if you have to what, your thinking and feeling,because the more you try and stop or get rid of it,your making it worse because the Stress Hormone Cortisol level will rise even more making you feel more stressed,then in turn you will react more Anxiously and youll keep going round in a cycle. If you refocus back on living your life and get back to doing things you liked with still the feeling of being Anxious I promise you over time you will feel less anxious again. It all started with heartburn one night, and a persistent dry cough that wouldn't go away.. then Googling my symptoms led to worry that i had esophageal cancer or lung cancer and eventually a panic/anxiety attack twice lol for 6 months I was a wreck with shortness of breath all day, chest pressure, a bounding pulse, tachycardia and paranoia.. it's effects left me couped up in my room all day which led to back pain, chest pain, and all kinds of pain and stiffness I then thought I had bone cancer.. it wasn't untill I came across a video explaining "Health Anxiety" that I began to understand what was going on. And then eventually getting every test, MRI, bloodwork, x ray done which was normal yet still not enough to convince me I wanted an answer, eventually the gastroscopy showed a small Hiatal hernia. And I believe it wasn't all in my head but this was causing my symptoms in a flare up due to the anxiety and stress. I believe it effects the vagus nerve. Even today it has improved yet I still get symptoms even when not anxious, I have stiff back, feel my heart beating, still worry sompthing might be wrong that they missed like I worry there's something wrong with my heart

    • @ImprovementPath
      @ImprovementPath  4 роки тому

      feeling like they have missed something or that something is seriously wrong are natural byproducts of anxiety. Dont forget you are in an emergency state and you are physically and mentally pretty much expecting something dangerous to happen. The body and mind are very connected and so thats why i believe that to tackle anxiety issues it is easier to work on your body first and that work clearing your mind in the process. Your mind is pretty much uncontrollable in a fight or flight state but the body you can still consciously control. Work on the body first and the mind will follow.

    This is like listening to myself speak. All of your videos are like listening to myself speak. Just one question - did the computer and iphone make your dizziness worse? Because it does me. I was convinced that this CAUSED my dizziness. And anxiety was secondary. But deep down I know the reverse is true. My dizziness and anxiety left me after 5 years when I began a new job. I was happy. Focussed. Free of anxiety dizziness. Symptoms more or less gone. Then lockdown happened and he I am. Back with all the dizziness and anxiety, panic attacks, again. I’m so upset about it. 😔

    So I fractured my wrist 6 months ago. 2 months later had gradual tingling and electric shocks spreading to all limbs, burning mouth syndrome, constipation and so far about 40 days constant dizziness. Hoped it could have been anxiety but seems like I somehow got small fiber neuropathy, slowly getting worse everyday.
    So in my case about 10 professionals said I'll be fine (wrist surgeons, neurologists, physiotherapists) but they had no clue. I diagnosed myself with SFN and a private very expensive neurologist confirmed it 3 weeks ago.
    So many times guys you actually shouldnt trust your doctors!

    I have been living panic attack/anxiety disorder/agoraphobia starting when I was 12 yrs old I am now 41.
    I can surely say the 3 things that work the best are cognitive behaviour therapy and diaphragmatic breathing as well as progressive muscle relaxation where you tense a certain group of muscles and re learn how to relax them.
    Medications are just. bandaid such as SSRI's - (Zoloft, Celexa, Paxil, Willbutrin, Elavil, ect ect) same goes for benzodiazepines (Xanax, valium, clonazepam, ect) while you are healing and getting your anxiety under control make sure to limit your caffeine and alcohol intake as they contribute to anxiety.
    Symptoms are different and vary from person to person some people get heart palpitations where as others have stomach issues, muscle twitching, restlessness and irritability.
    God bless everybody suffering from anxiety as I know how debilitating it can be and how it has a tremendous effect on ones quality of life. 🙏

Honestly, I still think i have a heart disease despite having 2 echos and numerous ECG's done and was told not to worry because my heart is fine. I don't know how to overcome this... Ive been there. I know the struggles all too well. Its going to be really hard to get out of this negative mindset. Youve really have to realize that this in direct realtion to your stress. Your anxiety disorder started out with overwhelming stress and you are stuck at those high levels because the symptoms keeps feeding new stress. Youve got to counter that flow. Do things that are known to lower anxiety and are bemeficial to health and happiness in general. I know it sounds so counterintuitive but thats the only way you can clear up your mind and see clearly again. No matter how worried, tired and demotivated you are there has to come that point at which you give up seeking reassurance and do things you know will get you further in life. Set goals and reach them. Work on them every day. When you want to just chill watch or listen to podcasts that either motivate or teach something in regards to your goals.be obsessed with something you love.

    I am new to your channel and I am finding your topics really useful. I have some weird body sensations and weird thought process. When I go outside far away from home I get this kind of fear in my mind without any reason, feeling of something bad will happen or If I don’t get careful I will face accident. When I walk I feel that my hands are not well placed and I feel numb on my hands. I used to google about these symptoms a lot but I am trying to break this habit.. when I sit my legs get restless and I have to try a lot to calm myself down. If the anxiety gets out of control I feel the sensation of fear of going crazy, I used to smoke cigarettes to calm myself down earlier. After smoking I would get relaxed. But nowadays when I drink coffee or smoke a cigarette I feel intensely jittery and my palms wet sweaty and I feel anxious without any reason. When I get anxious my hands get shaky and start to tremble. When I walk outside sometimes I feel I am going to fall down, so I try to get more careful while walking, I never fell down though. All these symptoms started after my first panic attack. I can’t still while studying or in classroom. I feel the intense urge to get up to go home. When I have to give a presentation in front of class my heart beat gets racy suddenly and I get sweaty, I can not give a good speech and I forget my topic. I can not give proper attention on anything, I feel like I am always in a hurry. I went to consult with neurologist to check my symptoms, I got my CT scan and my blood check, reports were normal. My blood pressure was also normal. I also checked my hands and legs. Doctor said everything is normal. But I have to always reassure myself that I am fine. Sometimes I feel detached from reality.Though sometimes I feel really good after exercise but still my nervousness is present, it is not disappearing. I really want to get better and want to end these all symptoms. I hope I can find the courage to fight with my nervousness.
    Thanks in advance

      Ive hsd hundreds if not thousands of comments here on this channel and many described their experiences. They way you have just described your life and your synptoms is pretty much a 100% match. I too had the sweaty and jittery hands, complete restlesness, nervousness and feeling like i will go crazy when my stress levels were reving up. Being afraid outside, feeling like people are warching me, like someone is chasing me or that i was about to fall are things i experiemced too. I can assure you that you are not alone with this.
      At some point you truly have to gove up the search for an answer and take a leap of faith. You say you feel better after exercise right. Thats amazing. Why dont you set yourself a real fitness goal. Maybe a physique that youve always wanted to achieve. Thats what i did and this exercise routine really changed everything for me. Just some food for thought 👍 you can do this i am sure

    I’ve been having a specific kind of sensation that is somewhat bewildering. Maybe you’ve had it. Last night in my bed I became acutely aware of my motion. Simply turning head around to shift sleeping positions looked visually terrible. I was acutely aware of motion and the simple act of moving my head made it feel like the room moved with me in a sense. I guess it’s the first night I had it severe like this and it’s a hyper awareness state where me moving my head side to side makes me look at the walls and items in front of me shift and it freaks me out. Did you ever have this?

    • @ImprovementPath
      @ImprovementPath  5 років тому +1

      I am not sure if its whst you are experiencing but i too had some issues with motion.
      It felt like my movement and my vision were not one, like not connected. I could lean my head and i could feel and see this motion last for a split second longer than the actual movement. I dont know how to explain it. Its really hard. Maybe like you said, my surrounds were moving without me actually moving.
      So yes i do believe that our hypersensitivty can create the most horrifying and weirdest symptoms.

      What kind of heart defect? I was diagnosed with AVNRT a type of tachycardia. Its mostly benign but it still scares me. I know its health anxiety because all the symptoms I have are signs of anxiety. AVNRT does not do all of this like dry mouth, muscle weakness, depression, dizziness, diarrhea, feelings of loneliness, concentration issues etc and it all gets worse when I let my thoughts go crazy. And they all happen after certain triggers. You could try to think as negatively as possible and really try as if youre method acting. If symptoms flare up, you know its anxiety related.

      Ah thanks for clearing that up :)
      I am not a doctor or any other medical professional and am just someone who is talking from experience.
      Breathing issues is a very common issue for someone with anxiety. I would hyperventilate from time to time but my biggest issue was actually that i always felt like i wasnt getting enough air. Its weird to describe it felt like i forgot how to properly breath or that my lungs wouldnt absorb the oxygen. I was obsessed with this sensation and focused on every single breath. Of course this will just make it worse.
      I too went and got every possible test done and was declared healthy. I wouldnt believe it and this symptom stuck with me for months or even years. I have now recovered from anxiety and do not have issues like this at all anymore.
      Anxiety can create the strangest most terrifying symptoms. Trust me on that 🙏
      So if youve been checked out thats awesome. Still worried perhaps go again but at some point youve got to give up the search for answers and work on the anxiety itself. I wish you all the best 👍

      @@kimberlytippen4436 I have hard breathing all the time an i am sorry I know how you feel, it feels like something seriously wrong with you and you got nobody to help you. Because of my hard breathing I have lost alot of weight most probably because of the endrenals, it feels like I am pumped up all the time. The anxiety guy is right we should focus more on lowering our stress because we have to realise what we focus on will expand. What we have is health anxiety and the mind concocts all kinds of weird notions that could be wrong with us. Sometimes we play into it sometimes we realise it but the cycle must be broken that's what I am working on. Wish you all the luck.

    Hi there! What are the good ways to help with dizziness? I am taking Magnesium started last week and also Omega 3. I am also under meds (Xanax and Anti-depressant), these meds are only for one month, my doctor said.
    I will be working overseas and thus, need to manage this dizziness especially at night when it gets worse.
    Thank you so much!

      I am dont really have that many tricks to treat very specific symptoms. Nothing really worked for me and i didnt also try many things like meds, cbd and others so i cant say much about it.
      Things that worked were hot showers, and taking a warm wet towel and keep it on your neck.
      It always felt like that my dizziness was connected to my shoulder / neck tension and still now i believe that its the case for a lot of us with anxiety

    You can't really start a meditation while being stressed, meditation only happens when you're already relaxed. Of course guided meditation is something very helpful when you're in a panic mode because someone is literally calming you down.
