I think you're just drained. This isn't the first title to be essentially one giant patch, but back then CoD was the "cool kid" game and calling Activision out for it would get you bullied. Now that that phase is over, everyone is finally seeing the scummy tactic not realizing they've been buying into it since the OG MW series.

Same here, Campaign is like you're playing in a unrealistic way of Multiplayer 🤡 Multiplayer's fine for me as long the movement was improved than MWII
What scares me is that people don’t care that they are not getting a single price or original content and they are okay with paying 70 dollars for it… if BO3 was released with just BO2 maps people would have rioted, activison would have completely sunk inside 2 months. Now people are totally okay with mediocracy. It blows my mind. People complained about the standards of ghost & advance warfare… like those games at least had orignal fresh content.
multiplayer is good tbh but main concern is campaign.. Activision was so desperate to charge us for a full game(actually a dlc) that they made a subpar campaign and slapped the full price(70 usd) on our face!
The campaign is short and bad, but if we get a big ol' free expansion to the campaign actually ending the story (iykyk), and missions being actually being classic COD missions, not Warzone Story Mode or smth

2. What is the difference if activision just made this a 70$ update? If this was called "MW2 year 2", it would've been the EXACT. SAME. THING. And we all knew that when we heard that MW2 was going to have 2 years of post launch support. I agree 70$ is beyond egregious for a game this lazy, but why do you people expect any different when we knew this was going to happen whether or not it was labelled as a DLC
the multiplayer is always gonna be multiplayer, a good campaign is very important to any new cod game, and it feels like a total afterthought in this game
I feel that with Soaps death they attempted a sudden death like Kat’s from Halo Reach. But with hers the building is falling apart, and Noble Team seemed safe from enemy fire, and then out of no where Kat gets hit through the back of head, making it much more shocking about what we just watched. The atmosphere was also completely different. They were talking and planning with dramatic music and warfare all around, but as soon as she died everything went quite and slow music began playing as 6 grabs her body and fires back, reflecting the feeling “what just happened?” in the music. Sledge tried to do this but missed all the key parts that made her death special. If Soaps death hit those marks it could’ve had us feel devastated and not disappointed.
With how much time sledgehammer got I think they did a actually great job I can say it’s a scam but yeah 16 months is really short I can’t blame sledgehammer but 70 dollars is really too much
Price of the DLC wasn't justified. if price was limited to 30 usd, the community would have supported the devs

I will admit that MW3 is a little bad in some areas and many things were taken straight out of other games, but I hate when people say that it is the exact same as MW2, the whole games feel is very different from MW2. From the movement to how the guns work, the game has changed very much since last year.

Except is the exact same game, but only the movement changed and they replaced the maps for other older maps from 2009. Enjoy wasting $70 for a patch they did for free back in WWII.
The thing is with your shots being inconsistent is that this game, just like MWII, might be rigged, so better skill means worse aim and damage, worse wifi means better aim and damage.
Warzone’s biggest problem is ttk in long range 40-100 meters is horrible with ARs and 15-20 meters with SMGs

Imma be honest, I played MW2 for like a month got about 20 hours played total but now I’ve jumped on MW3 and have all these guns to level up so I’ve been grinding the shit out this game, the movement is pretty spot on and the game feels fun despite the sbmm, I remember people were asking for a cod that just had everything all the maps from all the games all the guns all combined, I feel like this is what they were trying to go for but never went all in with it and now the game lacks identity I feel
Ngl codm is kinda great if you play it with a controller. Has alot of the old maps. Many skins, and ALOT of modes. Feels like a great mp ngl
I would love an extraction type campaign kinda like dmz but with story based objectives and being able to store anything you find in a certain amount of stash space. This could take anywhere between 10 hours to 50-60 hours, and it would be enjoyable for a majority of players.
Sbmm is the only thing that really hurts the mp experience

we went from ground war maps being combined into a warzone map in mw2019 to a warzone map being divided into ground war maps in mw2 2022 and mw3 2023

The only thing that kinda can save Soaps character is Zombies. Which sucks but yeah thats what happens when something is rushed

When i first played warzone 3 i couldnt connect to the map in the same way i connected to the rebirth island, verdansk or even fortune keep. Those maps when i first landen just gave me the feeling that i know them without even playing them.
The saddest part for me was when i realized that the new Warzone Map Urzikstan has a lot of copy & paste locations from the Multiplayer Maps. I recognized whole maps while playing like Sub-Base, Favella.. really disappointing
How is that disappointing they have been doing that since mw2019 with verdansk having broadcast, killhouse, scrap yard, and many more maps, Al Mazra also did this with high-rise, terminal, Afghan, rust, showdown and dome, it's supposed to be fan service
It actually takes more work for. Then to make these maps blend seamlessly with the environment of the br maps
I got it as a gift, and having spent $0 on this myself? I have enjoyed it.
HOWEVER, I’ve been playing very casually only a few hours a week.
I no longer bother with multiplayer, the SBMM is far too punishing. I enjoy matches where we can all play fun classes grinding camos, not PL MLG sweaty matches where I’m either having to try fully or get stomped by poor gun balance.
MWZ is my main mode, I am enjoying the camo grind from that mode. Repetitive? Yes. But so was zombies from WaW-BO3.
This is not a $70 game, not even $30 really, but enjoyable for me personally.
There is something magical about MW III, almost like it was hand crafted by a magician. As you need to be a magician to charge someone $70 for their favourite characters to be destroyed, entire story derailed and basically be identical to MW III multiplayer in every single way minus remarks of already existing maps.
Tdawg, first I haven't bought or played I've only heard and seen things, and after watching this it looks like my type of game (minus the BR, Multiplayer, and Campaign, lol). second, YOU SHOULD PLAY THROUGH ALL OF THE ZOMBIE MODES BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE AMAZING. love the content man, and I can't wait for your next upload.

Campaign should be a separate cost then the multiplayer game. So people can choose either to buy campaign or multiplayer.
As someone who quit CoD after Bo4 and just bought MW3 2 weeks ago, MW3 isn’t a scam.

I’ve only done 3 missions, and I already hate the campaign, I payed for Modern Warfare, not warzone bruh. The multiplayer is kinda fun and I’m sad to see that vortex is leaving soon because that’s all I play on multiplayer right now. Zombies is super fun and I love it, even though it sucks to lose all of your stuff if you get sucky teammates. It’s okay, but for $70 it’s not worth it, glad I got it while it was on sale lmao.

Imagine if Microsoft got rid of SBMM in MP? By far this would be one of the best multiplayer experiences in COD history. As it stands with how strong SBMM is, along with the fact that nearly 9,996,990% of the remaining player base is using cheats there is NO WAY it deserves that rating of 8. I give it a solid 2.5 maybe 3, however, if they got rid of SBMM and actually prosecuted cheaters and made cheating a thing of the past, I would 100% give MWIII's MP a high 9 and even possibly a 10 with all of the content being released each season. They really need to get rid of SBMM if they want to start to rebuild the player base again. It's actually more imperative that they do this than finding a development team for COD 2025 in order to save the franchise. If they don't get rid of it, I don't think Black Ops 2024 can save it. So my advice to Microsoft is to do two things, add EVERY SINGLE COD GAME to game pass, including Black ops Gulf War on the day of release and most importantly, get rid any and ALL match making manipulation including SBMM and EOMM.
Love the video man, but I wish more people would actually play the game and base their opinion from that instead of getting their opinions from IGN or people/creators that just hate CoD for not being another CoD4 or just plain old Views, Either way keep up the content man!

I luv zombie mode but this 1 is little different to me. Everytime you exfil with your packed wonder weapon and packed weapons. It's gone and you have to do the process again. The schematics are really cool but the cooldown disappoints me

I dont know why people are complaining. Activision told us before MW2 that it would be their first time having a 2 year CoD. They kept the formula listened to almost every complaint we had with MW2 and fixed them. They also added a whole new games worth of content and let us keep the stuff from last year like operators and stuff. They tripled the amount of camos we have (and they made camos we would actually equip lol). Cant wait to see what they add in future. But for those who can't gameshare with a friend I could see they hesitation to spend $70 for technically the same game

Just hear me out. You have Call of Duty Mobile, it has Iconic multiplayer maps, simple Battle Royale game modes and a casual round based and open world zombies mode. Doesn't matter if the mobile has a campaign, once some of the MWIII maps and weapons come to CODM, there isn't much difference in terms playing CODM and MWIII.
What they should do with extraction zombies is let you extract one item everytime so its more worth it everytime you go back into. (Ive only played it two times and it was okay)
Great review. Some good pointers that I've thought of in the past. One of the biggest for me though is the Warzone Loadout option. Shouldn't Should have a playlist with NO loadouts and you have to use ground loot. I think that would open up the skill gap for a lot of players and get rid of all these bedroom pro's with zero recoil guns lasering folk for 70 kills on rebirth. Absolute joke

This cod gives free dlc in the seasons. This cods multiplayer is better & way less bs vs the og cods. Zombies could use more objectives & enemy variety in it’s open world.

I never bought this game for $70, I made sure to wait until they put it on sale. It's literally the same game as MW2 with the updated movement that we should've had from the start.
Multiplayer was one of the best multiplayers in the last 5 years. But dont even get me started on the campaign. I myself am a campaign lover. But this made me really dissapointed. The open combat missions were really bad. This shows that activision will put a bit of warzone in every game mode, even in the campaign, even in zombies. This shows that they are putting warzone over everything else. Soap's death was really anticlimatic and I think the story lacked in soundtracks. The zombies was alr. But it can be better, like removing the time limit. Overall, I think this game screams DLC because the mp has mw2 items. But is it a scam? Probably yeah, as it doesnt have enough to offer for the 70$ price tag. If u wanna cop it tho,just wait for a sale like I did. And the only reason I got it was because my friends bought it. And I got it as well. But yeah its a scam

I agree. I really feel like people can grossly exaggerate the issues COD can suffer from.
The current title has issues. Every COD does, and every COD will. Feeling like it’s a cash grab or not a fair value is valid. The campaign is a miss. I’m sure there are plenty more issues that aren’t coming to mind.
But despite all its issues, I still find it can be a good amount of fun. Especially as a casual player who may not have time to get worn down by the issues. It’s far from perfect, and they need to do better of course; but I think that at its core the general appeal and fun of COD can still be found within it.

The multiplayer and zombies outside of SBMM and the OW settting i dont mind like i played undead seige in codm but felt bland and it was short given while mwz had 30+ minute time and give easier camo challenges
But multiplayer was far better from mw22 it was so slow that camping felt better than rushing
MWIII is a scam but that doesn’t mean it’s not fun. Movement and the MW2 2009 remastered maps are a blast. I’m not really complaining about getting it for free in MWII because I hated the movement in that game but MWIII should’ve been like 20/30 dollars for people who already own MWII.

Ive played this season just to see how it was. I mean its another COD. It does feel like a big dlc. The zombies mode is cool but needs work and the campain i havent pled but. But it defentliy has become a cash grab sucks that the cool skins are locked behind a pay wall. Its no better then the loot crates. But i heard infinty ward wont let anyone step in. Which wont help. The fact that theres so many game modes doesnt help either
The biggest problem is the egregious algorithms with psychological tactics that manipulate gamers and game state to serve only the agenda of creating pay-pigs; otherwise the algorithms are designed to push you off their servers. That is the biggest problem and everyone glosses over it.
The games are not fair by design, the environment is not safe from hackers/cheaters and the community can be extremely toxic.
The shop is overly aggressive with the in your face approach to selling their over priced MTXs that tend to have a pay-to-win and pay-for-different (better)-experience component to them.
This is gaming today; consumers are docile and/or ignorant typically facing FOMO as most just continue to purchase titles out of habit.

Mw19 movement & feel of the guns was perfect. Mw3 ls a game full of super speed super hero’s and rabbits. The guns don’t sound of feel like guns.the spawning is the most ridiculous I’ve ever seen in my life. If you’re lucky enough to get a kill streak going they’ll spawn an enemy right behind you. Or if you die they spawn you right back in front of the person or sentry gun that just killed you to get killed again
I hate the stress of playing mw3 multiplayer due to sbmm but zombies is great and unique

I feel the main fix for alot of people would simply be a solid price drop. In my eyes it was/is never worth the 70 dollar price tag.
If this game came out at a reasonable price at a 30-40 dollar price tag I might've bought it and I feel alot of other people would've.
Anyone who were cautious would wait for a sale and a sale on top of that new price tag would espeically make it worth it.
