I fall asleep on my mats all the time, be it on the bed or on the floor. I've become accustomed to them to help me stretch out the back of my neck really, especially the dreaded pillow you guys all hate. That thing has helped me with neck pain and tension headaches more times than I would like to admit.
Decades from now, your daughter's gonna have some unique and delightful home movies of the parents to watch!!

I get chronic migraines behind my eye on one side like that too. Seeing a neurologist and getting treatment was totally life changing for me. Wishing you luck. Feel better Chyna!

May I ask what the neurologist suggested? What was the treatment? Here is the UK you need a letter from the king to get a neurology appt for migraines!!
I was going to comment about migraine as well. My migraine attack is also in the same spot. My neuro prescribed Botox and it's been life changing.
I have this too! I never know if it's sinus/allergy or migraine.
@@stellaewunia9783 if it's one side, it's likely a migraine attack. (both sides can be that too). My neuro recommended the book the migraine brain.

I've lied on one of these for like 10 years now, it's helped me a lot when I'm stiff, I think it's less pointy than yours. I've fallen asleep a lot though, and after like 3 hours it gets quite painful!
"outside sucks". This is my motto in life. Two weekends out with the scouts and I realised that I was definitely an inside person.
Seeing Chyna with the backwards shirts made me think of a guy I met in the psychiatric ward of a hospital I worked at. I wonder how he's doing.

Dragged mine out of the basement. I’ve used it off and on, but never consistently. Chyna’s idea to keep it near the bed is genius! Just finished the ten minutes for the first time in looong time and it’s better and worse than I remember it! (I have the neck pillow and the square one looks so much more comfortable!) Fabulous video. I enjoy you guys and your banter so much! ♥️
Update: Forgot how much I hate/love this thing. Hurts. But my ten minutes has been up for eight minutes and I simultaneously can't wait to/make myself move.
Sometimes just being truly relaxed is good for your health. Being focused on the poking bits likely makes you forget about the worries and other things in life that distract you from fully relaxing

Love the commitment. For me the acupressure mat and pillow is a staple. Nightly before bed sometimes up to 3x a day. I do a minimum of 40 min. 10 min was too short and was excruciating. My body didn’t have enough time to adapt.
I love Chyna. She is so so funny. Still holding out hope that she'll have her own thing one day (channel, podcast, heck even a blog).
I'm curious if lying down after yoga would be more relaxing since your muscles should be nicely stretched and no longer tight? And what about a control with just lying on the ground? Because that's pretty relaxing too.

i’ve got one of these i occasionally remember to use when i’ve got a migraine. it feels shockingly helpful. i’m definitely in the ‘i want to, but will i?’ camp.
Chyna, you might want to check out a Postural Restoration Clinic (type of physical therapy) near you for the headache behind the left eye pain. I deal with that same problem and found for me it was because I had a whole bunch of tension in my shoulder-neck area that was starting to pinch nerves which was causing the pain. Might be something to look into, hope you figure out what the underlining cause is for you. Hope you feel better!

I have the same headaches as Chyna! I’ve found they are exacerbated by barometric pressure, because it’s related to my sinuses. What sometimes helps me is flushing with a nasal rinse, ibuprofen, and sleep. It’s so annoying though.

I made a blerp of it for the second time they were guests on Bad Movies Live (a live stream show Greg Benson aka Mediocre Films does on Twitch) together and a while later she sings another song solo. it may not have been a main channel video though.

There is a version of the accupressure mats for your feet that look like random size pieces of rocks. It feels like you stepped on a multiple legos.

I like to lie on the ground. Not the floor, but outside on the grass. It feels good for my spine. I think the softness-yet-firmness of the earthy surface has the right kind of give. Perhaps evolution accommodated for that? This is good enough for me and does not involve spikes.
This reminds me of all the random crap my husband and I talk about. Maybe we should get some pokey mats for optimal nonsense conversations.

I have one and I indeed often almost fall asleep when I'm on it (but I do use it on my bed, not on the floor :) ). Also helpful during painful periods !

This video is amazing. I went from "wtf, that doesn't look like it should do anything or feel remotely good" to "hmm, how much are those things?" Also, a tip: try rolling off of them to the side when getting up. It's quicker and spreads weight out more, so it should be less painful.
Jeff Golblum doesn't seem very relaxed in Kaos. Yet. Maybe he'll relax later after the first few episodes I've seen. More to come.

You convinced me to give it a try. My massuse has been encouraging me to try something between sessions.
I think part of what happens is this is uncomfortable enough that it’s hard for you to focus on stressful things while you’re doing it so it forces your brain out of a feedback loop.
I play indoor cricket which is just dangerous enough that if you’re not paying attention you’ll break fingers or teeth. It forces you to break those feedback loops but also gives you a bit of the exercise and team sport dopamine hits. 👍
